My husband and I went here for the first time last night after having so many of our friends rave about this place and we left feeling a little underwhelmed after spending over $100 on food. The bruschetta was tasty, but could have used more toppings on the bread since it comes preassembled. We both got a limoncello spritzer that hardly had any lemon flavor in it and it was mostly prosecco. We both got a pasta dish and for the price, they were both very okay. Maybe pasta isn’t the thing to get there, but there is an extensive pasta offering and they all sounded fantastic so we thought you can’t go wrong with pasta. But if you’re looking for stellar pasta downtown, head to Ciao and get better food around the same price.
Also, there were quite a few spelling errors on the menu????
My husband arrived before I did and he said the bartender was a little rude. Since it was our first time my husband wasn’t sure where to go and said “I have a reservation” and the bartender just said “around the corner” without any kind of greeting…and based off the website it appears this bartender is one of the owners-yikes.
Our waitress was attentive and there was a younger man who kept coming around to clear dishes and refill our water, so the waiting staff itself was great!
We may come again to try something non-pasta, but if we do it won’t be for quite some time as we were severely disappointed.

It probably took the wait staff 15 mins to come over to our table. It wasnt just me It was two other tables as well. We were actually going to leave but of course the waitress finally comes over. Anyways the wagyu burger was dry and like a hockey puck. Definitely wasnt wagyu. The spaghetti and meatballs wasnt good I feel bad for even saying all this. The sauce was watery literally as if it was microwaved and lacked flavor and it wasnt even spaghetti noodles! It was cheap noodles. Not slow dried real noodles instead it was penne! Lol! Also the new York strip wasnt that good quality meat like you thought it would be for 50 dollars. Clearly the food use to be quality but the recent reviews dont like. Not to happy for spending 150 dollars for poor quality food.

We stopped here during the Wausau Night Markey event. After a short wait, we were seated outside, which was perfect to listen to the music and people watch.
I ordered the Chilean Seabass. Wow, it was absolutely amazing. It was cooked in a paper enclosure that kept the seabass very tender and moist.
Christi ordered the Ragu Bolognese which was also very good.
We had a wonderful experience for an impromptu visit.
Our server, Payton, was amazing and offered honest reviews of various dishes. He was attentive and very pleasant.
We highly recommend this restaurant for amazing food and service.

Absolutely loved this place. It was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was wonderful and our waiter was very attentive. They had a piano bar that was an unexpected bonus as I love to sing and I blew them away with my “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” rendition which had the group of gals there begging for more and even asked if they could take a photo with me!
We will definitely be going back the next time we are in Wausau ‼️

I’m sad! I used to come here all the time when I lived in Wausau 10+ years ago. I was excited to have it again. My mom and I walked into the bar, I asked if they had any holiday drinks or a drink menu…to which the bar tender said no. He didn’t give any suggestions and seemed to just wait for me to figure out what he can make with his bar. Not overly friendly until, what I assume was an ex coworker, showed up and perked his mood up. During this time a waitress popped in and must have just come in from her smoke break and stunk the whole room up…ruining my appetite. My mom and I decided to go somewhere else. Very disappointed to watch a place I used to love fall so far.

The atmosphere was casual and inviting. The varied menu made it hard to choose which meal to try. The Chicken and artichoke was fabulous, reasonable…made you want to lick the plate! Dessert of Peach Berry Crisp was the perfect finish. Hardworking staff during trying times is to be commended. Bravo!
