Nice place to eat. Friendly atmosphere. Interesting. Good food. Good drinks! I’d love to have given them a five star on their food but the chicken fried steak was the same one that I’ve gotten at every place here Spokane

We decided to try this place for breakfast after reading reviews and talking with locals.
Wowza! They didn’t disappoint! The service was phenomenal! Our guy was so friendly, we bantered back and forth, he just was awesome.
The food was stellar! Big portions! Flavor was on point.

We travel quite a bit to Spokane for work. Satellite will now be our go-to for breakfast!!

We love this place. The coffee is delicious and the service is always good, the food was fresh and well prepared. There was just one thing that was disappointing. The vegetarian scramble had bacon in it. Most people who order vegetarian do so for a purpose of having no meat, and some because they don’t eat pork, which happens to be in most breakfast food. Needless to say we didn’t eat the food beyond the discovery and we aren’t drama so we didn’t mention this to the wait staff. Most importantly, we want to bring awareness, so hopefully this is paid better attention to.

Birthday brunch after Lindsey S., was amazing thanks to the amazing service! My Eggs Benedict excellent; however, I’ve had less soggy and more flavors. As a tradition here, being at my birthday, i was allowed to spin a wheel in the back of the restaurant. That experience was nerve wracking. I’m quite shy guy. My partner was there with me, so I had courage. Has I spun the wheel, looks of hatred glared at me and my partner. From then on, all I wanted to do was get out.

Service was fast and friendly, food was good.

I tried the lasagna soup and a Reuben sandwich. My wife got the club with fries. I thought the soup was great and the Reuben was decent. It needed more thousand island dressing, but I was able to ask for more. My wife said her club “hit the spot.”

Definitely will come back when we are in town and are looking for a late night dinner.

Ate in the cafe diner part. Only problem was the ice tea was not quite right. But a cheesesteak was really good, the patty melt was amazing and super large pancakes. This is diner food. You can feel the history in the room on the tables on the floor or it may have been grease. Server was fantastic. Just very welcoming and enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my experience at the satellite diner. We came during the day time and the service was quick which was a plus. I got the Eggs Benedict and as the menu described the were amazing. Although there was a little hair in my food, it was replaced swiftly. The Country eggs Benedict was savory and crispy. Overall, whether you’re looking for a new brunch spot or late night munch spot, Satellite should be on your list when stopping in Spokane !

A NEW FAVORITE!!!
How can you NOT be swept off your feet by a diner that continually plays 90’s pop classics in the ultimate Americana atmosphere with the COOLEST staff serving all those “bad” things we “shouldn’t” eat that will piss off the “avocado toast” and “hummus”-eating crowd? Lol. I love this place! So glad I found it! Great for early morning after the bar OR after waking up.
I ordered German sausage on the side and the “Hot Mess” which was hash browns with eggs over easy, bacon, mushrooms and fried onions with gravy…Soooo Gooood!! I had the Prickly Pear “MEGAmosa” as my drink.

Its is to my displeasure to announce this lovely location of have definitely decreased in quality upon new management taking over. Upon walking in the restaurant looks the same as it has for the last dozen years, still the same “city side diner” without any interior deep cleaning, or changes to decor.

This is important as you wouldn’t be able to tell management has changed unless you have been eating at this establishment for a long time.

Instead the new management has simply increased the prices across the board, the staff seems incredibly “off” the op-tempo seems as though there are changes and few are happy.

Some of the most unique menu items such as the Hen Fruit on the Red River and the Cinnamon Rolls have been removed. While seeming superficial I have to admit these changes make the overall “feel” of the location more generalized and lacking its “original” feeling.

There is an overall 2$ increase for every menu option, less overall options, and even the flavor feels “less” for some reason despite being common breakfast menu options.

Overall the restaurant has simply decreased on all levels. Quality of food, options of food, originality, and size of plates. The only increase is the menu prices.

Personally I feel sorry for the changes as we used to recommend the restaurant to our students at the local SERE school. We may soon need to change this if the prices continue up and the quality continues to flatline.

Love you satellite, sorry to see the old management go.
