I usually go to the Malden location and have always had a great experience. Today, however, I decided to visit this location instead, and it was very disappointing.
As soon as I walked in around 5pm to place an order, I could immediately feel negative energy from the cashier taking orders. When I said I would like to place an order and began pulling up a photo of the item I wanted, she told me to “raise my voice” in a very disrespectful tone. This made me feel uncomfortable and honestly made me want to leave.
When my food was ready, I noticed the Rose Ddeokbokki was extremely watery. This dish is normally creamy, and I’ve ordered it many times before. I was hesitant to go back up, but when I politely explained that it’s usually not watery and asked if it could be remade, the cashier looked down at the food and then at me and made a facial expression that made me feel dismissed, as if I didn’t know what I was talking about.
Thankfully, the cook was very understanding, apologized, and remade the food without any issue. However, the cashier’s attitude was extremely disrespectful, and I was very disappointed with how I was treated overall.

BBQ CHICKEN KENMORE NEVER DISAPPOINTS. We always get bone in chicken wings and they always come out near perfect (for context I’ve been to this location at least once a month this year :’)). I have never gotten a dry wing from this place. The food is always made to order, chicken is always perfectly juicy and tender, and the flavors are chef’s kiss. Their non chicken dishes are also super delicious — you can’t go wrong with your order! They also have gloves, plates, and napkins ready, which makes sharing super clean and convenient.
I highly recommend coming to this location if you’re looking for Korean fried chicken. The Kenmore location is definitely better than the Allston and Chinatown locations.

Nice restaurant, not fancy but also not rough (except for the exterior stairs, which are beat up). Great location by Kenmore Square.
Pretty good variety of options (although mostly greasy, spicy, not the healthiest food). Limited vegetarian options. Tasty food, in fairly generous portions.
Pleasant interiors, comfortable seating, clean restrooms. Upbeat background music, not too loud, so people can have conversations.
Not 5 stars because it’s not accessible, the food is served in disposable dishes, they do not serve water, and the prices are on the higher side ($16 for that bowl of rice and beef).

Atmosphere is there nothing too fancy, wall Greta with decoration and amazing register with detailed screen menu. Staff are friendly and very nice, food wide it not bad. I would recommended for the rose ttebboki, the sauce was to kill for. Chicken crispy and great but the soy was really strong and hard to consume after having 2. Beside that the place not bad place stop by to eat and snack on fried chicken

Fantastic place to try flavored chicken. On the way back from work, I visited this place. Got half and half whole chicken with original flavor and secret spicy. The chicken was really crispy and the sauce was amazing. I liked the secret spicy flavor better than the original. The quantity was so good and it was little pricey but with the location and food quality, I’m not surprised with the cost. Definitely a great place to try if you are near Kendall square, it’s just opposite to the station and the stadium. Wait time could be reduced during peak hours. Nice looking place to have indoor and outdoor dining. Will definitely visit again.

The chicken was crispy and tasty and we had plenty with the smaller portions. Service was friendly and quick. Waffle fries were as expected.

I was extremely when I found out this location serves halal chicken. I have been coming here almost every other day since then. I love their spicy original wings and their honey garlic sauce is just amazing. It is definitely worth it.

The guys behind the counter Very friendly. Probably one of the nice guys I came across in any food Establishment. Like he actually loves his job. The food is out of this world period. I tried 3 different kinds of chicken they were all excellent and I been craving to go back for more. The chicken is not cheap but worth it . I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
