When we first walked in, it took over 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us and took us to an open table. Once we were seated, it took nearly 10 minutes before a waitress came by. I was willing to be more sympathetic than critical, as there was more than one large party and it didn’t look like many waitresses were here. However, once the large parties cleared out, the service didn’t improve. The food isn’t bad but it’s definitely not worth the price. The menu prices are ~$18-20 a meal, which I am fine with paying if the food is well done or the service is fantastic. Neither was true. The food was alright but seemed more like it was just warmed up Sysco, like an Olive Garden, and if I am going to pay prices like this, I expect the food to be more on par with a very nice Italian restaurant. For instance, the marinara for the mozzarella sticks was obviously right out of a can , not adding any spices or anything. The mozzarella sticks weren’t that great, the entrees were okay, but the bread was amazing. Not a horrible experience or one that would make me warn people away from here but I’m definitely not going to be rushing to come back.

Italian food, Dena style.
An alright joint with a nice interior and cozy booths. The food was ok. Chicken marsala sauce was less of a reduction and more of an oil base. Chicken was moist and had flavor.
The bruschetta was good, although it was made with what appeared to be a hoagie roll, and the basaltic had a ton of sugar.
Kids meal chicken tender was brought to the table quickly. The french fries were really good.
I’ll come back and try the pizza next time.

Tried Anthony’s for the first time for carry out. Not too impressed. We walked in to order and they got the order wrong. Who orders an Italian cold cut sub with nothing on it? I sure didnt but that’s what I got. A bit over priced for not a lot of meat on the plain sub and a small hand full of fries.

First time there and it was a good time. Went for trivia, Ray is awesome. Wings were ok, had to get a double shot of Titos in my drink bc it doesn’t taste like any alcohol is in it..service was great.

I have no idea how I’ve been in Pasadena for so long without coming to Anthony’s. I probably wouldn’t have come tonight, but my wife was curious.
We got the special appetizers. One was a spicy marinara sauce with mozzarella and toasted French bread, and the other was a mushroom bisque. Both were WONDERFUL!
My wife ordered the salmon special with mussels and scallops, and I got spaghetti with meat sauce. I added some meatballs for a minor upcharge. Colette, our waitress, told me this as soon as I ordered so there was no surprise.
EVERY item was DELICIOUS! The only thing I’d change is to freshly grind the parmesan/romano, not have it in a shaker, but that hardly took away from the experience.
Jim Matteo played excellent music in the background, which was a perfect complement to a fantastic experience.
As soon as we got out the door, my wife said, “Hubby, I want to come back!”. That makes it unanimous.

Four of us dined early on Monday Dec 5, 2022 at this popular Pasadena, Maryland Italian restaurant.
As we walked in we could see one of the bakers was hand kneading pizza dough!
Very gracious receptionist escorted is to a table for four adjacent to the beautifully decorated Christmas tree.
Our waitress was excellent presenting the menus, appetizers, main courses of succulent traditional Italian fare, checking on us, and then after our luscious desserts … obligingly took a photos of our group in front of Anthony’s Christmas tree!
We’re from the “other side of town” and this is our 3rd visit to this friendly restaurant serving good food at reasonable prices…
