I’ve never heard of this place before and I lived in Moore for all my life. It was nice to walk into a new store without looking at any reviews, just curiosity. I entered when it was not busy at all and the old man was kind, too. It’s very quiet for people who want to sit and eat in. I got the simple Gyro combo with fries and a small drink. Around $12 in total, but it’s quick and easy to eat. I do like quiet. The food comes out really hot, too. It’s a decent small business to help keep going.

My husband and I have had Turkish, Iranian, and Greek gyros and falafel from all over the United States. The made from scratch falafel at Monty’s was THE BEST I have ever eaten in my entire life! My husband got a regular gyro with fries and he said it was absolutely DELICIOUS. Monty and his sweet wife made our dining experience like that of home. Such a cozy place! They are lovely people with delicious food! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I just had an experience here I so desperately needed. Hands down the BEST falafels I have ever had, the flavor and texture reminded me of my great grandma cooking. I absolutely will be back often. The flavor was GREAT and the woman behind the counter was so sweet. ❤️ My husband and I are both so glad to have found this gem so close to home.

I ordered the Gyro Plate, it was actually really yummy! The meat was very fresh and flavorful, not too greasy. Quality cuts of lamb. The fries are hot and crispy, perfectly cooked and has a nice flavor to them. The salad was interesting, not exactly what I was expecting from a greek salad, but it was tasty nonetheless. The tzatziki sauce was good but nothing to write home about. Good creamy sauce not runny like some places. Fantastic taste!
The service was good, the gentleman was very polite and brought me my food. The atmosphere is a nice quiet little hole in the wall restaurant style, good if you want a quiet peaceful lunch.
Only real complaint (which is a very minor one) is I feel the portion size to price ratio is just a tad off. There wasn’t enough meat to justify the $12 price. It was so good that I was disappointed when I ran out lol.
Overall, great spot definitely will return!
P.S. I found it a little humorous that the sign outside by the street says “cheese stake”.

Monty’s charming wife told me he’s been in the business 32 years. She grilled the meat for my Gyros sandwich. I also ordered a Greek salad. I also bought Baclava that is supplied by a vendor. All were plenteous and delicious. The location is in an older shopping center on 12th and Eastern in Moore, OK. There’s a small dining area with tables. If you like a good sandwich, burger or Gyros, give Monty’s a visit.
