I got the brisket sandwich, felt completely ripped off super small for a premium price I really like to support local and I had high hopes, Thanks for the reply, the ladies definitely didn’t put 8oz, I would have been happy, they many have made a mistake and only gave 4oz. I would return if you want to make it right and I would definitely edit the review then.

This was a quaint, locally owned diner that we found while visiting Rising Sun, maybe holds 30+ people. The place was clean. Service was good. They have a variety of jelly choices and I’d never heard of some of them. The spinach omelette was very good and it was steamy with every bite. I’ve never had an entirely hot omelette, not even at home. We were impressed. Employees were very charming. We will return. Now, I need to send a thank you note to add to their wall.

we were excited to come enjoy a home cooked meal. we heard good things about the food, but walking into the door was ferocious. The older lady that worked there was not a happy camper and quite rude .we had a party of 4 + my grandbabies car seat, she tried sitting us a table of 4 with no where for the baby. mind you not a soul in the place. i informed her the seating wasn’t going to work and she unhappily moved us to the 6 top table and she expressed to us she hopes that a party of a 6 doesn’t come in because we had to use that table, I shocked with her attitude so sadly we just declined and just decided to leave.. very disappointed!!

Food is good an the waitress was nice. But the atmosphere an people in here just hanging an drinking coffee. If you’re not palm colored you’ll feel uncomfortable/unwelcome. My 3yr old has autisim and she was happy an giggling and an old man yelled her to keep her voice down.. took everything in my body to keep me grounded. Use the gas an go to the main strip or pay a little more an get the buffet from the casino. In the pic look at the top of the cabinets.
