Sals Pizza Style: Exceptional Cast Iron Pizza in Birdsboro, PA
Reviews
Went tonight for the first time and ordered a large half pepperoni and Hawaii. Both were excellent. Crust was spot on with nice crunch and flavor. Cheese and sauce were both excellently balanced. Driving home was torture as it smelled so good I almost pulled over but as locals know, not possible on 724.
Ordered online and pizza was literally coming out of the oven when I arrived. Friendly staff and literally walked in and was out the door in a minute. Good amount of parking as well
Locals know but if you are new to the area or just never tried this place, please do as you will be happy you did
The first bite was a revelation. The crust was thick yet light, achieving that ideal balance of crispy on the outside while remaining soft and chewy on the inside. It had a delightful buttery flavor that complemented the rich, savory tomato sauce beautifully. Speaking of the sauce, it was homemade, bursting with fresh herbs and spices that elevated the entire pie.
The cheese was another standout feature, a generous layer of gooey mozzarella that stretched with each slice, adding a comforting creaminess to the experience. Sal’s doesn’t skimp on toppings either; we opted for ricotta & meatballs, and each slice was adorned generous portions that added a nice kick to the overall flavor profile.
What truly sets Sal’s Pizza Style apart is their attention to detail. The cast iron cooking method not only enhances the crust but also ensures even cooking, giving each bite a satisfying crunch.
Overall, my experience at Sal’s Pizza Style was nothing short of exceptional. This cast iron pan pizza truly redefines what pizza can be—delicious, comforting, and perfectly crafted. If you’re a pizza lover looking for a memorable meal, I highly recommend paying a visit to Sal’s; you won’t be disappointed!
All of their food is delicious, but our favorite is the Cast Iron Pizza. It’s a weekly (or sometimes more) meal in our house! And Ryan and Sylvia couldn’t be nicer people. Five stars all around!
