We saved everything that made the Very Best the Very Best and added our own retro-touch. We brought back the jukebox, and wallboxes and now have arcade games straight out of the 80s. Food is affordable, simple, and delicious. I like their chili which is more of a dry (moist, not wet) loose beef with good seasoning. Had a hamburger and Everything Dog and spent less than $10. The place was busy and had a great atmosphere.

have lived here all my life and only explored this place recently. i’ve been a few times, but wanted to try other foods before my review.
When you walk in it’s like a blast from the past and makes your forget all about the outside world. Seating is quick and efficient. Staff is kind and personable. The food is amazing! I think ppl often overlook it because it’s “just hotdogs” . But it’s much more than that. I actually haven’t had a hotdog from here yet but the burgers are amazing – think 5 JBC you’d get at wendy’s. My son loves the crinkle fries we always get well-done. Had my first cheesesteak from there after someone recommended it – has best around. And it was top notch! I’m a sucker for good soft bread and the rolls and buns are always great quality. Hoagies are great too! The best part is the pricing – this is the only place in the world with reasonable prices in this economy. And last but not least – THE ARCADE. So nostalgic and i’m grateful to have this opportunity to expose my child to the same games I played as a child. Absolutely worth frequenting – only con: they don’t have chicken tenders but i’m sure if they did, they’d get be great especially if they were breaded properly. Definitely have cash for the coin machine.

Want a great spot for a cheap burger that’s fast but not fast food? Well this is definitely the place for you. Good food that won’t break the bank with a fun decor and great service. I was surprised that the food came out as quick as it did and its made to order. This was a great find in my neighborhood and I do come in when I get the chance to only issue would be that its not opened longer then it is but that makes this gem worth coming out for when you can.

I usually don’t leave a review for a place I didn’t enjoy but with all the positive reviews, I figured this place would be great. The atmosphere is nice with a cool arcade in the back with some great classic games for only 50 cents. I had the everything dog and I have to say the chili was nothing more than ground beef and totally unseasoned. I didn’t think it was possible to make a bad hotdog but apparently I was wrong. The staff all seemed very friendly though. I have worked for many restaurants over many years and I have never seen a vent hood screen so caked with grease there is no way that thing was cleaned. It didn’t get that dirty in the few hours they were open before I came in. Definitely a fire hazard and it is the 1st thing a guest will see when they enter. From what I understand, this place is an institution in Pottstowns history? You have to do better for yourselves and the town.

I took my family here for the first time and the food was ok, we had 2 chili cheese dogs a Blt small fries and two fountain drinks. The prices a good but the food mid, the chili and cheese were utterly flavorless. The service was quick, and efficient, but the best was the arcade games in the back. I had a ton of fun before the food got to us and after.

Same nostalgic atmosphere that I remember as a kid 45 years ago! I took my brother for his birthday and we played some of the old arcade games. Frogger, Donkey Kong and Pac Man. They also still have the wall jukeboxes tableside! We reminisced about our childhood and would definitely recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner.

Really cool vintage aesthetic inside. Good food. The grouchy lady at the register ruined the experience. Came in here 30 minutes prior to closing and was told couldn’t eat in the shop due to it being close to closing time. Ridiculous. Open means open. Will never come back. Would have taken me 4 minutes to eat my hot dogs and been on my way.

Not bad at all for what you pay. Prices are great and they make the burger patties fresh every morning. They chili could definitely be better as it is not very flavorful.
