Looking for a good Mexican place was quite the task .this place has a great ambiance and the locals seem to really enjoy the food .
The full service bar offered margaritas to add to your meal.
I prefer Horchata. This was not home made but was a good drink.
The street tacos needed more flavor but were offered with guacamole and pico
Rice and beans. The price was decent for the amount of food they delivered.
3 tacos full of meat onions and cilantro. Rice and beans were perfectly tasting . pico guacamolewere also good.
Service was good.

Definitely the best Mexican restaurant I have been to. All of the food you get here is amazing.. from the chips and salsa to I’m sure any entree you try. I got the tamale platter and for only $10 it’s a steal! It was sooo delicious and I would highly recommend this place. The decor is also super bright and inviting. This place has great vibes and amazing service. 10/10

So, please keep that in mind when considering this restaurant, establishment, and/or venue. MY REVIEW: Service was good. I got tacos and my husband ordered a tamale dinner. There wasn’t a great deal of seasoning on the taco meat but that’s how I like it. I don’t care for highly seasoned hamburger meat. My husband loved the pork tamales. The beans and rice were average. Ordered a regular margarita and a strawberry one. They were delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Nice restaurant and experience. We’ll be eating there again.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Chips are always fresh and crisp. Salsa is perfect. Entree doesn’t matter what you get it’s always great. My favorite is pollo loco or fried chicken chimi.

On our previous visit, we were very pleased with the food and service. I had the Chilis Poblano; large peppers filled with chicken and covered with cheese. A huge meal, with enough left over for tomorrow. I didn’t check to see if they were still on the menu, but if they are I recommend them.
We are back. Today we selected from the lunch menu. The El Maguey menu has many combinations; still offered at bargain prices. We had two #1 lunch specials (a chili relleno, beef taco and beans) and two sodas. It all came in at pennies under $20 (without a tip) Filling plates of delicious Mexican food. El Maguey is still one of the best Mexican restaurants in Claremore.

Great food, great margarita! I had the chicken taco salad and a strawberry margarita in the rocks. A little potent, but nothing some salt and lime couldn’t fix! Restaurant was very clean as well! I will definitely return again if I’m ever in the area.
