Cute place, looks like it’s been there 20 years or more. We were one of three table seated for Friday night dinner. The female server had one earbud in and asked us multiple time ”that’s it?” There was also a little boy playing a game with the sound on. Overall, family feel, relaxed interior and experience, cute booths to sit in. Sushi was small but good.

The service here was exceptional. We were seated immediately and the waitress was very polite. For being located in a small town not near much water the sushi here was decent. If you’re feeling sushi I definitely recommend this place. They also have other Japanese cuisine which we did not try but I do predict it is even better then the sushi.

It’s okay coming from a vegetarian. There are many better sushi restaurants out there for those non meat eaters. My boyfriend loves this place. But I am not as impressed. Everytime I get the asparagus, avocado, cucumber roll, it lacks flavor and falls flat. The fried rice is also kind of bland. I do really like the Japanese Gourd roll though. That one is tatsy. And my boyfriend highly recommends the Rainbow Roll.

The sushi and service were underwhelming. The green tea was weak. I should have gotten sushi at China Garden or Rise in Walworth. Sentry Walworth would have been better than this! At least I wouldn’t be charged an arm and a leg AND get terrible service…

I’ve eaten at this place on and off for about 10 years now. The owner Ryan is truly a gem. Their food used to be SO much better. The last time I ordered take out will sadly be my last. The quality just keeps going downhill and even with them being one of the few sushi places in Walworth County, I can’t justify spending any more money here.
The rolls are now slightly bigger than my thumb nail. The miso soup is extremely inconsistent ranging between being basically water and then being an inedible level of salty. The seaweed salad is overpriced for an amount smaller than the palm of your hand. The spicy tuna and salmon is more stale crunch than it is fish. And the fish itself is either old or poorly kept as it smells and tastes off. Every single time I’ve gotten the chicken teriyaki or beef teriyaki the meat is overcooked and dry.
It truly feels like there is no integrity in the cooking anymore. Again, the owner is such a nice guy but your money is better spent elsewhere.

Delicious and huge portions in the lunch box deal! Covid measures are pretty good with ordering over the phone seeming to be the way to go, and then pick it up with a plexiglass window between you and the cashier. You could tell the sushi was fresh and homemade, and I believe even the wasabi tasted better too. First time trying and won’t be the last!
