Good breakfast/diner experience ! There was no wait for a Sunday breakfast for 4. The cinnamon bun was great (smothered in melted butter, no icing). The Denver omelette and blueberry pancakes were really good. Otherwise very average experience. My friend did not like the country friend steak burrito. Potatoes were also just ok.

Always great service. Usually busy on weekends. One of my fav places to go for some greasy diner food.

Another great classic American diner. If you love a greasy spoon diner, you’ll love this place and all it’s vinyl boothed splendor. Same decor and menu I remember from 30 years ago. The country fried steak is gravy slathered heaven. Crispy, delicious breading and homemade gravy that I ate with a fork. I would have used a spoon had I thought about it….

I had not been in this restaurant in over five years. In a town where most of the breakfast spots have gone down hill over the last ten years I was completely surprised that, if anything, all aspects of this business had improved. The service was impeccable; attentive, friendly and engaged. Danielle was
excellent and the rest of the staff was equally on the ball. I had the meatloaf and eggs which were as good or better than they were 25 years ago. The eggs were done exactly as I asked and the hash browns were perfect. With the sale and subsequent deterioration of several other old time Bellingham breakfast spots this place is the place to go for good food. The only reason I did not rate them a five is both the waffles and pancakes appear to be frozen.

I do like to come here cause it’s locally owned; waits are usually long for weekends; we had to wait 30 min for food; ice tea was over brewed
Eggs Benedict were good and the country potatoes were really good; portions are large so be ready to take some home

This morning’s breakfast was the best we’ve had in the longest time. We’ve always enjoyed the food in the past, but it seems different now in a good way. The potatoes were cooked perfectly, the pancakes were light and fluffy, and everything cooked perfectly. The hollandaise sauce had great flavor and seasoning, the gravy was good, and even better than the food is the service. In all our years of coming here, we have always had good service. The staff is always friendly and sweet. I gave Arlis’ a 5 for ambiance because I love that it is an old diner and has retained its charm and vibe. They aren’t a new place decorated to be nostalgic. They’re authentic and it feels very comfortable being there.

This was our first time there. This place is like walking back in time. Its decor is from the 50s/60s. The portions are big and the food was great. The price was good. Our sever was very nice and great follow through. We will definitely go back when in town. They are a breakfast/ lunch place and close at 2. Seems as though there are locals that go there alot. Great place to go.

Danielle is absolutely phenomenal.
I was a little short on funds for a lemonade with my meal and she spotted me, as well as having one of THE best customer service personalities I have ever seen.
As far as the food goes, truly knocked it out of the park.
Absolutely 10/10 would recommend to everyone.
Open early and closes around midday and right next to Unity where I frequent ☺️❤️
Keep shining crew!!

It’s my fault I didn’t triple check menus from all over the internet I guess? A 15 dollar breakfast burrito posted on their Google multiple places for 11 bucks sounds good. Now as far as calling it’s a large burrito I’m rather disappointed. This burrito is not as big as advertised. the miscommunication that was made to sound like I needed to look harder for the right menu was pretty unprofessional. If you can post a menu you can directly ask Google to remove OLD MENUS and not blame the customer.
Point is take your job seriously and make sure listings are correct for the customers. And if that’s to hard STOP DOING TAKEOUT easy as that.

We’ve been going to this place since the 1900s The food is always good and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the potatoes w/ ham and sausage with a side salad. I miss the old trivia question they used to feature.
