We had a day trip to Lichfield and stumbled across this place and thought it looked interesting. A Mediterranean restaurant view a lovely view over the lake and cathedral in the distance.
From the moment we entered, we were made to feel welcome. The staff was friendly and were attentive. Everything went well from start to finish.
We opted for the 3-course lunch offer, which we felt was good value for money. The menu is varied and extensive.
The cocktails were also really good and we’re worth the short wait. I had the mint and lime mocktail and it was punchy and felt like I wasn’t missing out.
We were fortunate to have a table at the window and loved the view.
Excellent service, nice decor, warm, elegant and tasty food!

Table was reserved for 7 persons.
Popular location. Tables quite close to each other .
Restaurant busy and high noise levels as quite a lively atmosphere
It became much quieter after 9pm.
Very extensive menu with middle Eastern dishes, pasta and pizza, steak, fish,kebabs, chicken and burgers.
Good selection of starters and sharers and extensive drinks menu including cocktails.
Service begun ok but long wait for main course.
We arrived just after 7pm and main course arrived after 9pm. We had starters before this.
My food was good quality. Only exception being my mussels were overdone on my paella so they were not juicy.
Everyone else’s meals fine.
All in all a good experience and would visit again to try other dishes on the menu.
Not a place to visit if you want a quick bite unless you pick an off peak time.

Food is was amazing and staff too. We had a lovely evening. And will definitely come back again. Our waitress was a lady named Nicola and she was fantastic, polite and cheerful and gave great customer service. There was three of us at the table and we came 25th October 4pm and left around 6pm. But all agreed was a star to restaurant.

We had a nice meal here with very friendly staff and good food. Had a chicken pate and sea bass in lobster bisque, and my surprise was the apple ginger crumble. Crumble so fluffy and crisp crumb. Lamb steak was very flavourful and tender as well. Our waiter very attentive and smiley.

Update – March 2026:
Visited again last night for the Spanish Fiesta themed evening and it was fantastic. Superb food, great service and a brilliant atmosphere. Excellent value for money, and the live entertainment was a really nice touch. We had a great night and will definitely be keeping an eye out for the themed evenings again.

Great food, Really tasty, served hot and fresh. Only complaint was the amount of peppercorn sauce you’re given for £2.50, it was pretty insulting tbh We had to ask for extra. They did give us 3 ti.es as much in the extra portion for no charge though.

Pleasant, but the paella was very bland, and the duo of pork, although nice, was very dry and nowhere near enough sauce.
Waiting staff were largely excellent – Enja was lovely – but drinks took a while (which wasn’t her fault).

We attended here to celebrate two of my family members birthdays, we were greeted and seated quickly which was nice, drinks were asked for quickly and that’s where it kind of went down hill really.
The food service was extremely slow in-between starters and mains, so much so the waitress had to apologise after we were asked for more drinks and still hadn’t been served our food.
The appetizers were lovely! I had a harrissa chicken and my partner had the hummus with pitta bread, both delicious and perfect size for a starter.
There was then, over 1 hours time until the mains came out. We are a table of 6 and ordered the food all together so not exactly a huge party unexpected on a Friday night.
When the food did come out, 4 of us had ordered the Duo pork and they were all presented differently, some were cut, some were whole, and one came out the size of a kids portion. We then had to ask for a gent to come over and see the differences, and in fairness he was great, he completely agreed, it wasn’t spotted by 2 chefs and within 2 minutes had a fresh plate out for us.
My veggie partner did say there was plenty of vegetarian options and the goat cheese pizza was really nice, but soggy on the base and would advise it needs cooking more.
Unfortunately as beautiful as the pork was, it was like it was sat under a lamp for 15 minutes because 2 were warm, the potatoes were the hottest part of the dish.
Drinks wise, my friend had a passion fruit martini, the first one I’d ever seen without an actual passion fruit in it and said it was weak. My long island ice tea was also weak.
Overall, was a lax meal, we felt it was quite overpriced for what we received and the timings in the kitchen and the service of food was not up to par.

A happy place. The Management at this restaurant clearly understands that happy staff means happy customers. Not all Ego’s are the same. Usual lovely food, served hot typically a one hour visit for your two course meal. Some disappointing portion control when I would rather just pay a bit more. A mean side of scallops and only half a bread roll with my soup…
