Food safety should be a top priority, especially when serving families. I understand that mistakes can happen, but finding a foreign object in a meal is concerning. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and reviews their food preparation processes to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
Review for Dynasty Chinese Restaurant
I had a great dining experience at Dynasty Chinese Restaurant! The edamame was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and prepared perfectly. The egg fried rice was also amazing, with just the right balance of seasoning and texture. If you’re a fan of spicy food, be warned—when they say spicy, they mean it!
Our party was seated toward the back, and the service was generally good. There was a bit of disorganization at the start, but it seemed like our server was just trying to keep up with the busy crowd. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and plan to come back again. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving flavorful Chinese cuisine!
I’ve tried many items from the buffet, and everything we have had has been really good. The only item I’m not a super fan of is their sushi. I always find theirs rather dry. However, I’m really picky when it comes to sushi.
To end your meal, they offer a variety of dessert options and ice cream! For comforting and delicious food and fantastic service, I highly recommend a visit to Dynasty Restaurant.
Exterior: Building looked nice from the outside. Parking lot needs attention: faded lines and tree nuts thick in the handicap spaces. Outdoor fountain pond with Koi fish was pretty though coins were thrown in. Small sign off to the side stating no coins as it harms the fish… maybe put a net or screen over the top to prevent this?!
Interior: Front greeter was friendly and seated us right away. Server was attentive, not very friendly. Fish tanks everywhere, thankfully clean. A bit gaudy on the lights and decor. Buffet was surprisingly small, smallest I’ve seen in a Chinese buffet. Food tasted meh; we’ve had a lot worse and a lot better. Was warm at best, not hot.
Wished we had looked at some of the reviews first. Don’t plan to return.
However the 3 people I spoke to were of no help. The first manager Jennifer listened and passed me off to the “owner” who ended up being “liza” who claimed she was also a manager….
“Liza” was absolutely unprofessional asking medical questions and requesting me to go to a hospital because I threw up once inside their restaurant and once as soon as we left and my wife is also not feeling well. The food was left out for way to long , and barely changed out. I made the mistake of getting sushi… would not recommend.
I was told by “Liza” she “would call the boss” indicating she is not the owner.
She refused a simple refund for food that Made me disgusted and sick. I tried not to discourage business from anyone already there or arriving and handle this privately. and if you see my posts I try to often bring business and hype to all great local and distant businesses. I am a huge believer that customer service brings in business and the food or product is what makes them want to stay and keep coming back!
This was absolutely terrible food and the customer service is even more disgusting.
And when I say the food was bad I am not trying to be rude. It was cooked with no love for food and no idea of flavor. And temperature and times are something this restaurant has no idea about. The staff was friendly but it seems the higher management is a huge problem. Or the “owner”.
If I could rate this less than a 0 I absolutely would. This establishment is the absolute worst in the state of Texas. I hope they have some inspections and get new ownership. If so, then and only then would I even consider returning.
100% dissatisfied with both the food and customer service.
Being treated that way while trying to keep things private after getting sick from their food is crazy.
And my quick tip…..Jake’s buffet down the road is great. Only been once so far but I will frequent them before I even think of this excuse of a food service establishment… super disappointed in yall. But hopefully you step your game and up get more business, but never mine again under your “management”. Good luck if you decide to eat here
We had the buffet, just for the record. It was very well priced and super delicious.
