Reviews
Out of all the Indian restaurants I have visited, this one impressed me the most in terms of taste and overall culinary balance. Every bite felt thoughtful, authentic, and expertly prepared.
What makes this experience even more remarkable is knowing that the owner is also the chef. It clearly shows — the passion, skill, and personal involvement are reflected in the food itself. This restaurant offers real flavor discoveries, not just a meal.
Highly recommended for anyone who truly appreciates outstanding Indian cuisine.

The only thing that keeps it from 5 stars is the pricing. If they shaved off a few dollars then it would be alright. Also when ordering delivery the portion sizes are not as big
The place is pricy, so be aware when dining.
Highly recommend the Chicken Tikka and Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan. The accompanying rice is very fluffy and fragrant.
Service: even without the great food, I would give this place five stars for service. They were technically closed when me and my friend (visibly pregnant) showed up. They opened a table despite being closed and then were SO HOSPITABLE. Our waiter Sonny was friendly and told us stories about his family (he was working home from college). Food came out fast and chef came to meet us!
Atmosphere: beautiful inside, calm, nice attention to details and lovely decor. All around great experience
EDIT: after reading others’ reviews I want to add a comment about price. We ordered: chai, vegetable pakora, butter chicken, lamb saag, naan, ras malai, AND two full take-home containers of fresh spices and it was less then $100. We have gotten two additional meals from it. We know that we have some skewed price perceptions (from living in assorted places including NY and CA) but it was very reasonable for the quality and size and service.
Not to mention the building was just freezing. It was not comfortable to sit in there at all.
The restaurant has no liquor license yet so we didn’t order drinks and yet the bill was still $90! For 2 basic Indian meals, naan (which wasn’t flavorful at all) , and samosas.
The drinks and food were delicious. We got the naan, an eggplant dish, and chicken tikka masala. It is slightly on the pricier side but the taste wnd especially the service was worth it. Everyone was so kind and friendly. If we ever are in Brattleboro again, we would definitely stop buying.
