I was so excited for my pizookie today, I ordered one for curbside today and I just opened it when I got home and it’s burnt! Literally never happened to me before. I order the gluten free pizookie every time and it’s never looked like this before or been so dry and burnt 🙁

BJ’s in Pinellas Park was a hidden gem nestled amidst a shopping plaza just off the main road.
It was late and there weren’t a lot of options, so we came across BJ’s, and initially we thought, oh just another Brewhouse, it exceeded our expectations.
There was no wait, as we were seated immediately, upon arriving at 9pm. I took off 1 star under atmosphere because we were seated right next to a large party and after the left, another large party was seated at the same booth where my back felt all their movements. Understandably, it was late and the restaurant probably wanted to keep a small section open, spacing guests out a bit is my recommendation.
Parking – ample onsite parking and overflow parking.
Bar – they have a huge bar area. They do offer non-alcoholic drinks for kids.
To go – they do offer a To Go section.
Food – they offer something for everyone. We tried the shrimp garlic Parmesan, Caesar salad, Tavern Pizza, New Orleans jambalaya, personal deep dish pizza, spaghetti, and a few alcohol/non-alcoholic drinks. We were too full to try and Pizookies (deserts).
Service – Our waiter Tristan was phenomenal. There was never a time we needed to call him back for refills as they came automatically. Tristan was very attentive to our kids needs and requests. Apps came out quickly and soon after the food.
Atmosphere – except for the seating noted above, the place had a very cool vibe.
When we are back in the area, this is a must place to visit, or catch a meal at another location.

The “pepperoni extreme” pizza hardly was. That’s like a normal amount of pepperoni that should go on a pizza. The melt was both burned in the center and soft and soggy around the edges. The flatbread was fine though the crust was a little under done. For what all this cost, I’d expect a much higher level of skill in how things are cooked.

Stopped in real quick for some food and a drink to watch some basketball and Sharon was absolutely the best server I’ve ever had. Many restaurants don’t ask about allergies or accommodate but Sharon was not only extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and my options, but she also had impeccable service. 10/10 will be coming back and requesting her.

I love their happy hour on Mondays! Half of appetizers (over $10 to qualify) & pizzas (flatbreads too) I ordered the garlic butter toast (the best!) and BJs favorite pizza as a flatbread.

I got the strawberry shortcake pizookie and it was amazing the cake was pie-shaped and thin at the bottom and then you pile all the toppings on top of that. What an amazing dessert honestly. The cake was thin but soft and so delicious. This is truly what dessert should be like at a restaurant.

The only place I would stop in on Sunday night would be BJs of Pinellas Park. I typically love to watch my sports and unwind from a long day at work. I always sit in the cocktail area of the bar. Those who know are aware of their fantastic Happy Hour from 9pm till midnight Sun-Thurs nights.
Chelsi is always on point and always keeps my sweet tea full. I enjoy the conversations I have her. They mostly revolve around current global geo economics and the weather. She’s got a wholesome sorta folksy perspective that I find helpful. Her service is great and my food always arrives in a timely manner. I’m equally impressed she always remembers my number for the rewards program. I’d recommend you request her.
