Been eating here for the last 15 years. They have the most authentic South Indian flavors to be found in the Bay Area (not found at bigger places like Vik’s). Their staff is kind. Not a fancy place, but delicious and welcoming. Leaving them a 5 star deserved review today 🙂

Paper roast was really good. Vada was horrible. Poori was OK. If you’re just going for the paper roast, I definitely recommend this place but other than that I’m not a big fan of this. Service was really good and the ambience was OK.

I got the Udupi combo and picked mysore masala dosa- the food was great although I got delivery, I bet it’s even better cooked fresh dining in. I’d Recommend coming here and giving it a try

The food was amazing! It took a bit to get water refills and the restaurant was a little warm at opening, but both minor inconveniences when the food is exceptional. We had a larger group and never were we pressured to move on!

I went to this place for lunch for the very first time and it is some of the best Indian food I have had in the US! I ordered a Thali and it had a lot of food items and it was very filling. The food was so tasty – I loved it! I’m definitely coming back here, for sure. And the thali cost me under $18. The quantity of food for the price I paid was really amazing! I’m glad I went there today and had such tasty food.

Chicago Udipi Palace was 1 star this is slightly better and so 2 star. The Vada was decent. Idli was chewy. Dosa was ok. Masala was no good. Sambar was watery. Chutney was edible. That’s it. How are people liking this kind of flavor I sometimes wonder.
