The fried chicken is good! Usually fresh and seasoned well. The shrimp fried rice is also pretty good. The dirty rice is okay… wouldn’t recommend it. Fried fish is a little greasy and fatty. But the fried shrimp is good. The mango slushie is good but we didn’t like the green apple one… it had a very strong syrup taste. Service is quick and friendly most of the time.

The Worst Gumbo I’ve ever Tasted. It was horrible. Really wanted to take it bck. Thru it Away. They had Salad Shrimps. Cabbage & Mushrooms in it. GUMBO!! NAW BRO!! DON’T INSULT LOUISIANA LIKE THAT!! I just couldn’t believe it, the Gumbo on Crenshaw & Slauson was right on Point. My Son said Compton store food was horrible, I just couldn’t believe it. Won’t be going bck there. Owner needs to hook up with Crenshaw/Slauson owner for Tips. I saved a Picture just for the review.

I got the 4 piece dinner. Chicken was amazing. Just enough salt spice and crunch on every bite. Got breast wing and leg. All delicious. Fries perfect to what Lousiana is known for. Small spot but customer service is good. Id come back. One of the better fried chicken experiences despite the outside appearance. Probably my new favorite chicken spot now.

Their Fried Chicken is always very fresh and hot. It does not seem to sit around too long like some places. Like the one in Carson. You take a chance with them. I have got chicken from the Carson location in the past that was cold and dried up. That is why now I only come to this one in Compton.
The reason I gave it a four star is because outside of the building is the nastiest parking lot I have ever encountered. Garbage, papers, food, trash that people just throw out of their cars just awful and unsanitary. I don’t know how the health department hasn’t come out there to cite whoever is responsible for keeping the surrounding area clean and safe. This doesn’t occur in Beverly Hills.

I will say that the food is good. And they really do have a good customer service disposition but you have to pay attention to how much they charging you and how much tax they’re adding because they gave me the same tax for two different items that have different prices. I have to say I walked out and went and got some food somewhere else. And they no longer take EBT. They’re located on Wilmington and Alondra in Compton California
