I am not a picky person, so I like nearly all the different food items at Golden corral. Their steak is not the highest quality, but it’s always seasoned and cooked just right. I prefer medium rare. They have lots of good vegetables, a very good salad bar, And the dessert bar is way too big! If you’re expectations are not too high, Golden corral will treat you right.

Visited our military family member and took them out to eat Thanksgiving dinner. We expected to wait to get in and while it was busy they were well staffed and got our group of six in right away. All the employees were cheerful and walking quickly doing their jobs. Our service was great and the food was better than I remembered. We will be going back when we visit them for Christmas.

We went to Golden Corral for Veteran’s Day and we were greeted so warmly at the front door and by each of the staff. The food is always fresh with so many options to choose from. I wish the salad bar was a little bit more robust, but otherwise it is one of our favorite places to eat out in Abilene!

Golden Corral back in the day was very good. But somewhere down the road the food quality dropped. Everything is either over cooked or to salty. And I found out that all the food comes in already mixed and made just heat and serve. It’s no different that already prepared food you get frozen in a grocery store just on a bigger scale to put in a microwave. It gives you the false impression that it’s healthy and fresh but not. Not healthy at all. The salad ok but the dressing is also to salty. Can’t win. Sorry Golden Corral.

One of the best GCs I’ve ever been to, the place is neat and obviously new, the food was amazing – special mention for the pork pot roast and their sauteed mushrooms. A little hidden from Industrial Blvd good thing they put up a sign because it’s way behind another building.

I wish I could remember the waitress’s name we had today. We came in after a funeral for a loved one and the waitress was so compassionate, generous and kind. We were a larger group of 8 (the group with the purple shirts) and of course we laughed and remembering the fun moments, so at times I’m sure it got a little loud. But not once did it seem like we were a bother to anyone. She was quick to clear away our tables when needed and refilled our drinks. Golden Corral really should give her a promotion!!!

Took my father in law out for his birthday, this is one of his favorite places. Server was great, sorry I forgot her name. The food was good they had everything we wanted to eat! Steak, shrimp, fish, tacos, all sorts of sides, salads, soups, and good desserts!
