My wife and I just tried this food truck out and it does not disappoint. The lobster and shrimp empanadas are absolutely amazing and the Caribbean jerk pulled pork wrap is the only way I want my pulled pork now. 100 stars if that was an option.

My hubby and I ordered a couple of things off the menu to try as much as possible. The food is amazing!!! The seafood empanada has big chunks of lobster inside it’s awesome but the veggie empanada is EVERYTHING!!! That veggie empanada has soo much flavor it’s out of this world. The Lomito sandwich had my husband speechless. The layers of flavor the chef was able to punch into this sandwich made the drive out completely worth it. And the service was A+++++. Hubby and I are now Spice the America groupies!

I recently visited a food truck that left me thoroughly disappointed. I decided to try the Veggie Empanada with rice, and it was a complete letdown. The rice was somehow even more bland than water, which is quite an achievement in itself. The empanada was equally unsatisfying, with a dry stuffing and an overall lack of flavor. I was hoping for a spicy kick, but unfortunately, that was the only discernible taste.
While I may consider trying the burger or chicken in the future, I would highly recommend staying away from the empanadas. They were simply not worth the price, and I was left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. Overall, I would not recommend this food truck based on my experience with the Veggie Empanada with rice.

Customer service was not the best with this company at their food truck; particularly the chef since I noticed he was the one making the decisions. I was served a very small portion of fries with my meal compared to the portions that were being served in other meals. When I addressed the concern with the staff, he informed me I needed to share fries with another person as if I were a child and did not pay full price for my own meal. Furthermore, I was served the wrong empanada and when I went back to correct the concern, the chef made a smart remark as if I receiving the wrong empanada was a mistake I made. All in all, this is my first and last time ever supporting this company due to poor customer service and the food being mediocre. 5 wings and a tiny portion of fries were $14 and the empanada was $8 and the guy treated me as if he was serving me free food and I was being a hassle for addressing my concerns.

My wife and I just had their food at Slow Pour brewery in Lawrenceville. Fantastic!! We had the lobster empanada and the chicken empanada, as well as the Caribbean Jerk Wrap and the Mac Daddy white cheddar mac-and-cheese with shrimp and smoked thick-cut bacon. Everything was great, but I want to eat the Mac Daddy again tomorrow for breakfast.
