Our server was very attentive and friendly. Everyone was nice. The place was clean. The jalapeno burger was very good. The grandpa breakfast was ok, the fried potatoes were to greasy (tasted like they were fried in old bacon grease), the eggs were good. The pancakes were delicious and huge. Biscuits and gravy was ok.

Visited here on a Saturday morning at 8:30, didn’t leave until 9:50. Wait time for food after ordering is a good 30/45ish minutes but it goes by pretty quick! For sure the BEST pancakes I’ve ever had!!
Biscuits& Gravy: The food was amazing! Ordered biscuits and gravy topped with ham ( we did ask for over hard eggs and got over easy) other than that it was amazing!
Pancakes: We also ordered a pancake to share and I thought I could finish half but it’s deceiving because the pancake is 1-1.5 inches thick! I could only eat 1/4 of it, definitely a pancake to share with 4 people! Great for leftovers though
Coffee: 2/10 drinkable but not great, tastes like watery coffee
Service: 3/5, our waitress had a small attitude but I get it was a Saturday morning so she was swamped but she seemed to talk like that too her co-workers as well so maybe it’s just how she is..
I love how this restaurant is very homey, the tables, the mugs for coffee, plates, having the dessert in a fridge along with the drinks, etc gives home local vibes which I love
Also the pancakes are so cheap for what you get!! $6 for a HUGE pancake compared to other restaurants where it’s $5 for a small add on pancake

Better than average for a small cafe. The pancakes are huge and can easily feed 3 people. Agree with the comments about the coffee being weak, but at least it’s hot.
The service is ok- not overly friendly. During what looked like a busy time, the staff seemed a little overwhelmed, but nice enough.
The restaurant was clean and tidy and never seemed too loud to hold a conversation. Be prepared to wait for a table and your food, but totally worth it. We’ll definitely be back.

We come here every single time we are in town. Best breakfast hands down! Prices are on point, as well! So many great choices. Some of our favorites: omelette, pancakes, French toast, and the chicken fried steak sandwich & chicken sandwich with bacon. The desserts are out of this world! Chocolate pie and chocolate cake…amazing!!

A nice mom & pop breakfast/brunch restaurant located right on 306 in Canyon Lake. Great service from our waitress. The food came out on time fairly quick. Everything was good however the banana nut waffle really didn’t have a banana taste to it. The patty melt was delicious. My husband had the pancake and it tasted plain to me. But it was huge and hot coming out. The veggie omelette, home fries, & hash browns were good.

The biscuits and gravy had a spoiled taste to it. The hashbtowns and bacon was good. The pancake was huge and yummy. The waitress waited on other people even when they arrived after us. Coffee was not good at all!! Overall, we have had better breakfast somewhere else

Although I know it’s a cozy, family-run spot, the service was a bit hectic with the busy crowd and fewer staff members. I was tempted to give them a 4 since we waited around 40 minutes for our food, but I decided on a 5 because the hardworking staff really tried their best. My husband and I stopped by on a Monday afternoon for brunch, which is often celebrated as one of the best in the area. The food was absolutely delicious — one of their pancakes was as big as a small pizza, and they also have some huge cookies!

Love, love, loved this place. Our new found favorite spot. Service was amazing. Food was so good. We took home a lemon meringue pie. (To die for) and I tried their Texas sheet cake, if you love brownies with fudge and pecans it’s the one do you. My husband had a omelette which was so good and I had their biscuits and gravy yummmm and their cinnamon sweet roll pancake. Oh my gosh! Prices just perfect.

If you happen to be in town for vacation or passing by, I’d highly recommend for the simple fact the food is in abundance for the price you pay and can easily become 3 meals if you have your own eggs to add to it or just order extras.
The service was friendly but should inform you the food will take a good minute, considering the portions you’re getting are massive.
The mens room is small and could easily become over occupied so be prepared if you have to go.
The food was properly cooked and was to our expectations.
The lighting was plentiful and showcased the food. Interior decorations need updating and counter checkout should upsale the desserts in the display case but wasn’t offered. The pancakes do not come with real butter but we didn’t ask if they had it as an option.

This place was packed and if you’re looking for huge portions with average flavors this is the place to go. We went on Sunday around 11:30 with the rest of town. They have a no frills atmosphere, waited about 30 minutes for a table. The place is very space efficient and has a huge menu. Don’t expect the food to come out quickly. Took about 30-40 minutes to get 2 omelets, and the DAM big breakfast with the giant pancake that’s big enough for 4 people. Better come hungry!
