We didn’t know it but it was almost closing time. But they treated us like royalty! They brewed a fresh pot of decaf which was excellent – you never know what you are gonna get when you ask for decaf. We enjoyed a gyro omelet and the sausage gravy. Read the other reviews and you will see that it is a fan favorite. It truly is delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We plan to head back there soon.

Sausage gravy was yellow for some reason and looked like it had broken based on the pools of grease on my plate. Potatoes and eggs were cooked well but unseasoned. And to top it all off I found a nice long strand of red hair at the bottom of my plate. Service was nice and the waitress was very attentive.

Jimi’s Sunnyside Up is the definition of a cozy, family-owned gourmet diner done right. From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, welcoming, and just like home.
The food was absolutely outstanding — the sausage gravy and biscuits were rich and comforting, the fried chicken breakfast was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the grande breakfast burrito was truly to die for. Every bite tasted fresh and made with care. To top it off, their coffee is top class and pairs perfectly with the meal.
A special shoutout to our hostess, Aly, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful — she made the experience even better.

We love this diner. My husband tells anyone and everyone that will listen that Jimi’s has the best sausage gravy he has ever had. The food is just so good. I’m shocked not everyone knows about this little gem. Check it out because you will not be disappointed.

We had breakfast and it was excellent. My wife had eggs , potatoes, toast and pancakes. I had the western omelette. It was ready in about 10 minutes. The waitress did a great job. It has a small dinner feel. We would definitely recommend.

The food was delicious! Look at this giant chicken smothered in gravy! I got Chicken Fried Chicken with sausage gravy, home fries, eggs, and biscuit. It’s so filling and yummy . The service was good. They checked up on us a few times. Price was also good. I would totally go back again for this.

Got the big burrito. Don’t know if it was smothered in gravy or cheese or hollandaise like sauce but it was the best ever! Easy to miss as RT 8 is so busy but it is so very good.

Classic yinzer greasy spoon with amazing good food. Tastes like grandmas in the back making the dishes you remember as a kid. Our new brunch spot for sure.
