The shared the hot seafood platter with a garlic lobster tail was excellent. Service should also be commended. We felt welcome and were looked after. Although a bit of a drive for us, well worth a visit with plenty of parking but be sure to book ahead.

One of the best meals I’ve had this year. The staff is very welcoming and the space is very comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. We treated ourselves to a special occasion and had salt & pepper squid as a starter, crab salad and a whole lobster as mains. Add a nice glass of white wine and a Bitburger, and happy days! Decent choice of beers on tap too!

Booked a table and arrived a few minutes early. Greeted at the door and taken to my table which had me looking out to sea. I was given the menu and made my choices from a reasonably varied menu. What broke my heart was discovering the specials wall behind my back that I hadn’t seen. Starter was a smoked salmon and chilli prawn salad (bit mild on the chilli). Main was a cabin baked salmon (slightly more translucent than I am used to). The starter and main had identical salads on them. A raspberry roulade with cream was a dessert of the wall, quite nice. Spoke to owner afterwards to say how much more exciting my choices would have been if I had known about the wall specials! Nice view outside and clean toilets

Good spot, good seafood. The atmosphere was pretty good too, and it was busy, but there are lots of hard surfaces so it was a bit noisy. The sundae was excellent, as you can see from the picture!

One of the best meals we’ve ever had.
For starters we had oysters, along with squid and prawns.
For mains we had steak, haddock, paella and whole lobster.
When we went to Oban earlier in the year this is what I was expecting but left feeling deflated as none of the restaurants we visited had a seafood menu anywhere close to this.

Birthday lunch for my wife with best friends, booked in advance and kept it secret until I drove us all there. Friendly welcome and seated in conservatory with views out over marina and beyond. Having spent an agonising age trying to decide what to eat from an excellent selection menu plus specials board. Excellent starters, hot platter enough for 2, Tiger chilli prawns and smoked salmon with salad, wonderful mix of flavours, halumi tacos with salad was a tasty twist. Mains again were well portioned, well presented and full of flavour and succulent tastes. We had a wonderful time and will be returning to try many other dishes.
