I was excited to see they were opening, and after visiting twice I’m happy to say my excitement was warranted! Excellent selection of wines, not limited solely to O1V (although their wines are fantastic). Multiple options for tastings (see photos), beautiful tasting room, and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Great wine shop. All Virginia wines and can be sampled via flight or glass. Whites, roses and reds. Plenty of space, knowledgeable, excellent service and just around the corner from all the King St activities. Found several wines to take home with us. We can’t wait to stop in again.

This year on our annual black Friday winery tour we visited October One. The single employee was super and super busy. She made smart recommendations and we enjoyed some very tasty wine. I was most impressed with the service. The wine second and the location third. I’d recommend expanding the sweets. A sangria, a mulled wine or spiked cider for the holidays. Great spot though.

Lovely little winery shop. The staff makes this place a gem. Very casual. Bring your own snacks or food as they don’t offer any food whatsoever. Would be nice if they had some general easy bar type bites to snack while drinking their amazing wine. They also support other local wineries by also showcasing their wine. Give this place a try. You’ll fall in love with them.
