Got welcomed, very warmly was sat down with chips and salsa and handed a menu card delicious schnitzel sandwich with pastrami and the sweet cornflake chicken fingers are out of this world! Coleslaw is slightly tasteless, but they provide extra dressing and sauces if needed. And we can’t forget the crayons and coloring on the Tablecloth that is the most fun part.!!!!

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Burnt Burgers & No Response from the restaurant
Ordered delivery from Dougie’s BBQ (2 kids’ burgers, a Pastrami Burger, and a Baby Back Rib Burger). One of the kids’ burgers was burnt so badly it was hard as a rock and completely inedible. The other kids’ burger was burnt as well. Not well done. Burnt. The two adult burgers, which I ordered cooked medium, came out well-done/borderline burnt and were dry.
This was supposed to be my family’s dinner, and it was absolutely horrible. The attached photos show exactly how the food looked straight out of the bag – I can’t imagine how something like this leaves the kitchen.
I reached out to the restaurant directly, twice, before posting anything publicly, hoping they would address the issue. I didn’t even receive the courtesy of a response. That silence tells me all I need to know about how much they value their customers and their business.

I ordered pick up and was really turned off when stepped into the place. Not kept up very well. I was expecting more for the prices listed on the menu. I had their ribs and for $57 I thought I would be in for a treat. I was quite disappointed, these were definitely not worth the cost. If you call yourself a barbecue joint, please do the ribs right especially at those prices. I suggest to stay away from the grill menu if this is your only option. I will not come back.

The place was a mess. The waiter and manager were nasty. They refused to take our order, give us what we asked for. They yelled at us when we asked questions. They brought out the wrong food and yelled at us when we told them. Other people there were waiting on their food for a while and then were told the never ordered. Never was treated with such disgust.

A delicious meal! Very reasonable prices and a great place to go if you want to eat out of Lakewood. I got the platter, which happily fed two people. Also they give you free chips in the beginning.

Horrible experience. I went for a nice night out and from the minute we walked into Dougie’s I regretted it. The place was filthy and it took a while to catch a waiters attention. All we got from the waiters and staff was hostility and attitude. I will never be back

Very nice place to dine when looking for kosher food in the area. The food was great and delicious. The service was exceptional. The staff were very friendly. Please was not so crowded the next get I was there. Not sure about other times. But I guess you can call to see. Prices were very fair. I definitely would come here again in the future.

I am a huge fan of the dougies chain. One upstate ny is ,the one in Baltimore , and the big hit is the junior combo but in the dougies in deal the potions are small and the food is not as good. Junior combo in Baltimore is about 18 and it’s a way larger portion, the one in upstate ny is 23 or 24 and large portions and in deal it’s smaller portions for $28. The junior combo usually feeds 2 people easily and the one in deal I was literally starving after splitting with a friend! I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND DOUGIES IN DEAL. THE OTHER BRANCHES ARE LITERALLY MY FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT! SHAME ON DOUGIES DEAL!!!
