Visited Fairbanks for vacation and Lulu’s had the best latte in town, hands down (and I tried a new spot every day of our trip, so I’m sure of this review). They were strong and delicious.
Lulu’s was one of our favorite brunch/lunch spots and came back multiple times on our trip.
The homemade breads, quiches, curry chicken salad sandwich, and salmon cream cheese on onion bagel were all so good.
I’m sad there’s no place quite like it where I’m from. I cannot wait to come back next time I visit.

This place is amazing! bagels made fresh for breakfast and lunch options. Everything bagels, plain, cinnamon raison the list goes on and on. The salmon cream cheese spread is so good. Went 3 times last week. They are open 6:30am to 4pm. They have all sorts of coffee drinks as well. I had the cold brew with cream and sugar. You won’t be disappointed. It’s our new favorite place to go.

A Fairbanks hidden gem. Great coffee and great bagels. I got the lox and bagel sandwich. They are generous with their portion of lox. You’re not going to be disappointed. I also ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel which was a little low on flavor for my taste buds. The place is super clean and has a very welcoming atmosphere. The morning servers are super nice and go over the top to make your morning start right. They’ll be seeing me again soon.

Very busy all the time with all kinds of people. Most of baking stuff tastes great! Depends on who is at the cashier, their service is hit or miss. I recommend their Chocolate croissant, scones(flavor varies), hummus sandwich and honey nut spread. Pecan pie bar is too sweet so do not recommend. Whole wheat sourdough was a little harder than I expected. They sometimes mess up the order so safe to double check with them when you receive it.

I ordered an onion bagel with egg, sausage, and cheese, as well as a bacon blue cheese quiche and two eggnogs. The eggnog and quiche were both good, though a bit pricey (prices were not listed, you found out how much everything was after you ordered). Unfortunately, the bagel was very disappointing.
Given that the place is called Lulu’s Bread and Bagels, I expected the bagel to be the highlight, but that wasn’t the case. The first one I received was burnt. When I brought it to the counter, the employee initially dismissed my concern, but another staff member kindly offered to remake it. However, the replacement was even more overdone than the first.
I ended up eating part of it, but the flavor was overly salty and unpleasant. It’s been hours since my visit, and I still can’t get rid of the aftertaste. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience and won’t be returning.

My wife & I spent a week in Fairbanks & liked Lulu’s so much that we ate breakfast there twice. Lulu’s bread is really fantastic. I had a BLT with goat cheese on french bread & a turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce & cream cheese on french bread, both equally awesome. My wife ordered an egg bacon & cheese sandwich on multigrain, a blueberry peach smoothie, a decaf cappuccino with hazelnut syrup, and a slice of veggie quiche with sweet potato crust. The atmosphere was casual and the service was friendly. If you’re looking for a quick bite for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or packing for a picnic, Lulu’s is the place to go.

We stopped in for breakfast and all ordered a variety of toasted bagels and cream cheese. Delicious bagels and flavor but it can get busy! We had no wait at 8:30am and got plenty of seating for 7. Reasonable pricing too!

We tasted Lox (smoked salmon topped bagel). Delicious food. One star less because they do not display the price up front. However, there is a QR code on the board that you can scan

We ordered beef roast with Asiago bagel and lox with onion bagel. Beef roast was amazing. I generally like putting siracha in everything to get extra savory flavor but for this one I didn’t need any extra. It was very flavorful and delicious. Loved the smoked salmon bagel too. The salmon was very soft and capers added the extra tanginess to it.
I also got London fog in drinks. It was little sweet. Maybe next time I will ask them to reduce the honey.
Loved the place. Gonna visit again!!

My first visit to LuLus was not a great experience. They had almost no bagels or pastries or bread and there was only 1 worker in the place. In LuLu’s defense, it WAS 3pm. But I was still sorely disappointed at the utter lack of baked goods a Bakery had to offer.
So I decided to give it another shot at redemption and decided to go for a morning visit. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had ay least 25 bagels in every type and flavor and there were tons a pastries and loaves of bread.
I ordered a chai tea latte and a goat cheese veggie on sourdough. Both of my orders were finished quickly and tasted spectacular! The chai tea latte was rich yet lite and had the perfect sweetness. The sourdough bread on my sandwich was great – soft and delicious on the inside with a very crusty outside that gave a satisfying crunch when you bite into it. The goat cheese gave the sandwich such great flavor and the tomatoes and onions and lettuce gave it crunch and body and a freshness that all sandwiches need.
I can say with certainty that I will be back here to enjoy some of the other treats they have to offer – but do yourselves a favor and only come before noon!
