We entered an impeccably maintained establishment and were seated promptly upon arrival.
The true standout of the experience was the ramen. Each bowl showcased a deeply developed, richly layered broth, full of complexity and depth.
The expertly prepared cuts of meat accompanying the ramen added an additional dimension of flavor and refinement, elevating the dish as a whole.
While priced at a premium, the quality and execution more than justify the cost, making it a worthwhile dining experience.
They import ingredients straight from Japan and focus on farm-to-bowl freshness, making their Ramen noodles daily.
Our waiter was Ryan and made some great suggestions. He was very personable and knew the menu very well.
We tried the Karaage, Japanese fried chicken with a sweet and spicy kick, and it was a game-changer .
The A5 Wagyu Niku sushi was a highlight, with the same quality and taste as we experienced in Japan.
We ordered the A5 Wagyu Garlic Niku, it was fantastic.
My wife ordered the Duck Matcha Ramen and I ordered the G.K.O. Ramen, if you love garlic this is the Ramen to order. They were both unique and absolutely delicious.
This place is now a top pick for us and Ramen lovers. I strongly suggest arriving early for lunch because tables are limited. It would be worth the wait regardless.
*** Ok, the only negative is locating this amazing restaurant if your not familiar with this area. It is located in the Post District Apartment retail area that are outside (right on the side of Traeger HQ). The parking is available underground for visitors. They do have validation for 3hrs, which is a bonus because it would cost $10 every 30 mins. A good suggestion is to look at the signs before entering parking garage to be sure it’s not the entrance for residents.
Enjoy your new favorite Ramen Restaurant ☺️
The waiters were very attentive and helpful. Great service.
Their message is all about farm to bowl, and they certainly deliver. All the food feels luxurious but homemade at the same time. Like someone hand pulled the noodles and freshly simmered the broth. The meat in the ramen is next level.
Also got takoyaki, best I’ve had. Lots of octopus pieces, and the bonito flakes were mild and sweet, very fresh.
The service of course was great, you can tell it’s a passionate team that takes pride in what they do. The restaurant is beautiful with touches of Japanese influence everywhere.
This place is a flavor experience worth trying. I recommend the GKO ramen. Medium heat level, not necessarily spicy, but lingering heat. Add the egg, it’s smoked and is a total flavor bomb. The meat is tender. The noodles are chewy and bouncy. The broth is almost thick enough to be a sauce. In some ways, this ramen is a diversion from the typical, but that’s a good thing. If you like rich flavors, and hearty meals, I can highly recommend this place. Not something you want to eat every day, but the flavors and textures provide an experience that you simply do not get in most restaurants. Shout out to the staff, great service.
