We’re headed to Wichita on Christmas Eve and got hungry for breakfast and saw the restaurant sign on the highway. We were delighted to find a comfy inviting place to eat. The prices are very reasonable, the waitress personable, the food is excellent & the seats are padded ! It looks like a place I’d come back to if I lived here and they’d know your name. Can’t beat it. Sometimes you get lucky!

Stopped in for a patty melt and onion rings — both were fantastic. The patty melt hit that perfect balance of crispy toast and juicy beef, and the onion rings were big, golden, and worth the stop alone.
A big thank you to the waitresses working hard behind the counter. You ladies made me feel like a local. I grew up in a small town, and that small-town welcome is exactly what’s missing in the city.
To the cook I caught a glimpse of through the kitchen pass-through — you’re adorable, and my chow was spot-on tasty. I wish I knew your name so I could mention you and let everyone know about your cooking skills.
And to the waitress with all the tattoos — when you pulled out the Pop Rocks and started in on them, you made me smile. Thank you for the laugh and the hospitality.
I couldn’t leave without dessert — the chocolate peanut butter pie. The crust was flaky and golden, the chocolate filling creamy, and the meringue… don’t get me started. Dang it was good. The kind of pie that makes you forget the road for a while and just sit there grinning.
Oh the good old boys that were mean doggy me love you boo. And to the pretty girl in the white truck the smile made made this old Marine day. thank you little

Really nice people, easy to find off I-35. Plenty of truck parking. Lots of dessert choices. Got a BBQ and onion burger. Apple pie & ice cream. Had a buffet which the locald bragged about.

I ordered this bs on DoorDash & I’m so pissed I came to Google. The food is dry and bland. This cow died for NOTHING.. not a speck of seasoning on the meat..the sausage was decent but you only get 4 little pieces. It’s not even a whole link and that’s the only thing with flavor.. I got the baked beans. They’re straight out of the can. I’m eating it bc I’ve been driving for 10 hours and I’m starving. I would’ve been better off ordering Arby’s out the truck stop. Don’t waste your money. I will never order again.

Awesome place come hungry leave full everything is home made. The young servers was very impressed with. I hopefully get to come again someday. I got a pick chop dinner with a loaded baked potato and California medoly. Salad bar with a chocolate dessert to die for. Its enough food for two meals. I paid under 30 for that with a hot tea and two cinnamon rolls to go.

Hard to find a decent truck stop diner that’s not from corpo-america. Sure the decor is dated . Don’t care. The food is excellent…and if that don’t tell you everything you need to know, then this place ain’t for you. The wife had the two egg/chicken fried steak breakfast and I went for the lunch buffet on our way home to OKC. The lunch buffet is limited…which works for me. All buffet items were hot and ready and tasty and homemade. The fried chicken crispy and moist. The farfalle stroganoff was excellent…not bland at all. Good salad bar… awesome homemade tomato soup. The eggs and chicken fried steak were awesome as well..the chicken fried steak was big and tender large portions of hash browns. All in all if this wasn’t limited to 5 stars then they deserve a 10 out of 10.
If you’re heading south on the 35 and passing through Perry definitely worth the time and stop in.

We had the cheeseburgers with onion rings and everything was fantastic! The patties were perfectly cooked and obviously hand-formed. Would go again!

The salad was old and the rolls was hard .
And the bake potato was cold and hard . The pork chop was just ok . The green bean iam not sure just terrible. I wish we hadn’t try this pleace. I just dont understand why people like this food . Unless they dont know what good food is supposed to taste like.

The service was good
The food was okay, not bad but not good. Pricey for what it is. I probably won’t be back, I’d rather go to Texas Road House in Enid. It’d be cheaper and taste better to.
Or just eat from the gas station next door.
