A decent spot for wings, but lately the quality has been a bit inconsistent. The wings are made fresh to order, which is appreciated. I usually get the lemon pepper wings and they have generally been good, but some days the wings are overcooked.

Every time I have gone for lunch, the pagers were never in use and even though I correctly enter my phone number I never get any text messages with a link to the receipt, or when my order is ready. It is generally not an issue, but the last time I visited the employee behind the counter asked to see my order number when I picked up my food. I let them know that I never got the text, and they hesitatingly gave me my food only after I correctly recounted what I had ordered.

To put it bluntly it is a passable wing spot.
Had their lemon pepper and won’t lie it was REALLY strong.
The wings were cooked well and juicy but their flavoring overpowered it all.

If you enjoy lemon pepper it’s fantastic but maybe plain will be better for most.

Decently priced too so worth a visit.

Shared the 15 wings with my boyfriend and we were quite disappointed. I usually don’t eat breaded so I took as much of the bread off to have the wings themselves only and they were disgusting. The only reason they were passable is because of the breading and flavouring they add, but by themselves they were bad. Overpriced too.

Blegh! Turkey wrap tasted like fish (sign of either old food or dirty cooking area) & the philly cheesesteak had cheap cheese. Would not recommend!

Food is extremely overpriced and flavorless. I order a chicken cheese ohilly with bacon cheese fries and garlic fries.
The cheese is flavorless goop. The chicken had zero seasoning flavor and tasted like canned processed chicken. The bacon tasted old and dried out. I could only eat a few bites. The squirt was the only thing wiyh flavor.

Ultimately, I’m trying to review every single restaurant in San Pedro Square, and today was Gameday’s turn. Naturally, I thought it appropriate to visit a restaurant named Gameday on one of the biggest game days in recent San Francisco 49ers’ history, the 2023 NFC Playoff Divisional game.

San Pedro Square still remains my default location for Bay Area community events because of the environment’s dynamic range of features, one of which is providing a large viewing venue for sporting events (which it did recently for the World Cup as well).

For a classic gridiron match up, I wanted some traditional sports bar food, which is one of many options for event viewers. You could choose pizza (already reviewed by me), or burgers (also already reviewed by me), but nothing says Gameday like some classic bone in wings. For this reason, Gameday was my obvious eatery of choice for this particular occasion.

The ordering process was as smooth as it could be considering the sheer chaos that was the venue. Gameday seems to take advantage of every technological advantage available to a restaurant, which the same can be said for many of the other restaurants in this space.

Although, Gameday doesn’t just leverage the tech, the tech also validates a quality of service that is demanded of places in this venue. With that said, they have an un-personed (stay woke ) ordering station that enables a non-stop stream of self service orders. The experience is straight forward and requires a phone number to transform your cellular device into a restaurant buzzer, which has the added advantage of sending text updates versus simply buzzing.

Because of the tech, I couldn’t help but track the order-to-delivery time, both of which receive confirmations via text message. 21 MINUTES!!! Are you serious?! That was spectacular! I ordered extra crispy, bone-in, traditional buffalo wings without interacting with anyone, in the middle of a huge event, and they delivered my food in twenty-one minutes. That is great service.

The wings, awesome, but expensive, but still awesome. For a bar food experience in an open community setting, nothing really does it like Gameday. It’s got all the classics, and even though there’s some extra cost for the venue experience added in, the experience is worth it.

Mediocre food, chilli was lacking flavor and was to salty, cheese on the Phillie cheese steak was grainy and also lacking flavor. It was worth the price 🙁

The current chef there was very accommodating to my request to change my order to the one I had mistakenly ordered. Its a great place for wings but I ordered the Philly and with that change order and her attentive approach to make me happy with my order im very happy to see my food come out the way it did. About to enjoy it!

The food was not good and a patty melt with fries shouldn’t be 26 bucks. Avoid this place

Two self ordering screens, text when your order is ready, woman behind the counter offered ketchup since we forgot to include it in our order and put some napkins on our tray. Thank you!
