I stopped into The Throttle Bar and Grill and was completely blown away. I ordered the Reuben and let me tell you! It was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Perfectly grilled, stacked high with tender corned beef, melty Swiss, and just the right amount of tangy sauerkraut. Absolute perfection!
The service was just as impressive, super quick, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. On top of that, the prices were more than fair. Great quality food without breaking the bank? Yes, please.
Honestly, I wish I lived closer because I’d be a regular here. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t regret it!

Practically grew up in this place as a kid back when the AFB was still open. Has changed a lot since back then. Friendly staff, and the bar is in good shape. Was a pleasure to stop in and have a beer while reminiscing about old times. Will happily stop in again next time I’m in the UP!
