We skipped the counter and grabbed a table in the dining area. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a classic burger joint—unpretentious, nostalgic, and incredibly welcoming. You can feel the history the moment you walk through the door.

I came here after search suggestion for the best burger in Dublin. The burgers are sliders. They are good, I wouldn’t say “the best” but they are good. Now the hotdogs, they are pretty darn good. If you like hotdogs I recommend getting the combo of one double burger and one hotdog so you can experience them both. I also really enjoyed the hand cut breaded fries. But the best part for sure are the people. Very much a hometown place with super friendly staff.

You order at the register, and they call out your number, then bring your order to the table. Or, you can belly up to the bar.
The hamburgers are sliders. There is very little meat in the burger, and I would put them on par with sliders found at other burger places. The sliders are $1.80.
But! The French fries are the best we have had in a long time. I will be coming back here for fries. One burger and a large order of fries were enough to satisfy my appetite.
The menu is limited to burgers, hot dogs, and fries with variations to the fixings you can add, along with chicken strips and chicken sandwiches.
We got here at 11:40. By noontime, the place was packed, and a line was forming at the register. Orders are filled quickly.
If you charge your meal on a credit card, there is a small fee for this. This is not disclosed.
All in all, it’s a good stop for a quick bite. We will be back for some of those delicious fries.

We came at lunch on a Saturday and they were busy, but once we ordered we got our food fast. The food was delicious. I had the slaw dogs, and my kids had cheese burgers. The fresh are fresh cut and also great. I highly recommend this place if you’re in or near Milledgeville. Plus the prices are like the 1990s. Very affordable.

EDIT: They’re now giving you almost zero meat in the ‘hamburger’. Hard for me to call it that when it’s effectively the scraps from a cube steak. Look at this picture, that’s a regular sized ketchup packet in case you were thinking it’s somehow a crazy big novelty packet. AND I WAS CHARGED $12, then stupidly gave a tip. Total rip off.
What a great place, my brother said we had to stop in this town and eat here. We got there shortly before closing, the staff was very friendly, didn’t try to rush us, and made some great sliders and dogs, and a plus, the sweet tea was good. Highly recommend this place, remember SHOP LOCAL FIRST, these are your neighbors and friends.
