Food was very good, as is usually the case. Friendly staff, our waitress was friendly and attentive, kitchen was a bit slow today compared to the norm but not too bad. First time we’ve visited the Foley location, we usually visit the Orange Beach location.

I was excited to go to wolf bay. I have wanted to for years but something always stopped us.
There wasnt a waite at all. It was dinner time
Our server was nice and pretty good. She could have stopped by sooner after we received our meal we had some questions.
The salad bar was very good. We received our meal BEFORE OUR APPETIZER.
The pasta and sauce was really tasty but was very disappointed in the prime rib bites that came in it.
It was cooked too much for our liking. But mainly in was tuff. Through and through.
I ended up taking most of my home to our bull dog.

The appetizer was absolutely fantastic.
We ordered the chacha crab dip with bread dippers.
It was worth the trip. I mean really good
My meal came with a margarita..on the rocks. It was decent.
Now i absolutely love gumbo ..USUALLY.
THERES WAS NOT SATISFACTION AT ALL. I took a couple bites as did my date and didnt touch the rest. We ordered a bowl because we read it was an old tried and true recipe. But i heard afterwards that it was liked by a number of people we know.
So thats not a do over.
They have a large giftshop.
Looked nice by we didnt shop.
They have a Sunday brunch i understand. May be will try it one day.

First time visiting this restaurant because of many good google reviews. We loved our food and server!! Yes love love love. Especially my captain’s platter dish. Everything on my plate tasted so fresh and good! You gotta try! It comes with complimentary salad bowl so you don’t pay extra for it. Shout out to our server, I wish I got his name. He is a senior male whose legs seem not doing well. I want to thank him for making our dining experience extra memorable. He treated every one of his customers with dedicated care and kindness. Not only us, I noticed he did to other customers too. I hope his excellent work gets recognized by management! He is AWESOME

If you’ve lived in Baldwin County for any length of time, you’re familiar with Wolf Bay Lodge. Wolf Bay moved to the Foley location on Miflin Road after the fire burned down the original location on Wolf Bay. I’ve been around long enough to enjoy both sites. If you’re new to the area or vacationing, Wolf Bay Lodge is a must do for lunch or dinner. They have possibly the best seafood in the South, and it’s been that way since they opened in 1973. How many restaurants have that bragging right? My husband starts with a visit to the salad bar. Those are hard to come by since Covid, and their salad and home-made dressings are legendary. The fried Gulf shrimp are our go to, dipped in a whopping helping of their tartar sauce. Oh my goodness! It’s a combination I dream about at night. It’s completely ruined tarter sauce for me from any other restaurant. Our food came out so fresh, I had to wait for it to cool down before I could eat. The sweet potato fries are the perfect side, and the regular fries are good too. The Boutique at Wolf Bay, their gift shop, is worthy of a visit all on its own. With really cute merchandise, you can pick up anything from jewelry for yourself, a new sweater for Grandma, toys for the kids or grandkids, and trinkets for your bridge club friends. The women’s bathroom has two stalls, is very clean, and has salt scrub to wash your hands. They have plenty of room for large parties or simple tables for 1-4. They have a large bar with seating as well. Our server, Ramona, was efficient and super friendly, and we even got to say hi to Brandon in the kitchen. Fabulous meal, excellent atmosphere – 5 stars!!

Went here on a Saturday, parking lot looked packed, but we were seated quickly and our drink orders were put in a delivered fast. The salad bar was nice (wish it was all you can eat) but not a problem. Our food came fairly quickly and didn’t disappoint! The hot 1/2 pound of shrimp and and the catfish was delicious.

Fantastic meal to start my Christmas Holiday week visiting my family in Foley Alabama… literally ready to head back tomorrow for lunch.

Dinner Tonight: 3 Option Platter with sides and fresh salad bar. Popcorn Shrimp with the house made cocktail sauce (excellent), Grilled Butterfly Shrimp (no sauces needed), Blackened Whitefish (tritail) – Mac & Cheese, Sweet Potato with Cinnamon Butter. Ya’ll – this is good eating.

Wonderful environment – kind and considerate staff – a great gift shop – and a full belly.

This experience is what a restaurant should be. A meal that leaves you with a fond memory.

Good food and service, but better options at more reasonable prices in the area.

For me, this was kind of hit or miss with regard to the food. The salad bar was good and had a decent selection of options. The lobster chowder was excellent! I’m glad I ordered the Fisherman’s platter but at $40 it seems expensive for the amount/quality of food. The shrimp was good but the cocktail sauce was phenomenal – loved the horseradish kick! Whitefish was fresh and tasty but the stuffed crab (and stuffed shrimp) were mostly bland and mediocre. Overall we enjoyed the meal.

Even though the place was busy, we got seated within a few minutes and our service was on point. Overall the staff was extremely friendly.
