The literal sweet spot! All the favorite candy one could ask for in one fun little shop! The smell of the freshly made waffle cones just seals the deal for me! The owner said that they will also soon be selling fudge along with their Pitt Creamery and Hershey ice cream. This just might be our new Sunday tradition right after grabbing our sourdough from Common Oven!

Lucky Duck Candy Company is a local business that sells candies and ice creams. Candies include chewy and hard, sour and sweet, and nostalgic and modern. Ice creams come from both Hershey’s and Penn State Creamery. My family and I were customers here twice. Employees provided prompt and friendly service. I loved the three flavors of Penn State ice creams. My husband liked his Moon Pie. My other family members enjoyed their ice-cream cones, sundae, and many candies. We, however, would prefer a more authentic Dubai chocolate bar.

Such a cute, clean, and nostalgic candy store! They have something for everyone. We tried their ice cream and a shake and they were AMAZING! Fresh waffle cone and quality ice cream makes a wonderful treat! Workers there were super friendly and helpful. Definitely will be coming back! Glad to have this business around town!

Wonderful wonderful old fashion ice cream and candy shop. I had a double scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone, one scoop from the Penn State Creamery case and the other from Hershey’s case. Both were delicious and I savored every lick. The owners are delightful and inviting and excited for this new addition to New Kensington.

Took my daughter & my nephew for an after school snack & I was so overly pleased of how the environment felt! It smelled so good, super clean & staff was very friendly & oh can’t forget the penn state ice cream is amazing !!! Alumni crunch was so tasty !!! Can’t wait to go back & try the strawberry cheesecake ! Oh and the old school candy tops everything off 10/10
