Visiting down in the states we stopped in here for lunch. Really great atmosphere and really great food. I ordered the wings which is like a sweet hot with some habanero and they were like perfect amount. Really great. Love the wings non-breaded really big lots of meat on them, my friend’s got a pizza between themselves and they said it was really good and enjoyed it really well. I also had the unsweetened tea which I’ve never had before in Canada which tastes different but was still pretty good. Highly recommend

Very good place for some of the best pizza in the area. The crust is very light and not greasy at all.
I also had a cheese steak subs, that was flavorful and loaded with meat.
Top it off with a cold beer and you will be pleased at an affordable price.
It does get very busy, for a good reason.

Their toasted subs are amazing especially the Italian (pictured). We had regular fries (pictured), but whether you get the regular or fresh cut fries they are both very good. The pizza is different from the norm but very good. The crust has a good buttery / oily flavor. Hot Z has fresh quality food. I can’t wait to go back and try more items . They are a well known local establishment that’s been around a long time.

Went on a Friday around 4 p.m. The parking lot was packed, and since we had never been here before, we weren’t sure if the dining room was full or if something else was going on. We went into the dine‑in area, and it was empty; the person at the counter said it was the bar that was packed. There is no table service for dine‑in: you order at the counter, then they call your number. The pizza was so‑so; I’d compare it to cafeteria pizza or the kind you get at an all‑you‑can‑eat buffet like Golden Corral. I won’t be back and can’t recommend it.

Enjoyed the special pizza which was absolutely loaded withe meats & veggies. I especially enjoyed the crisp green bell peppers and plump mushroom chunks. Took half home to have for lunch the next day. Crust could have been a bit sturdier to hold the toppings better but overall, very good.

I thought the food was fine, I just cannot stand greasy pizza or oily subs—they have both. Atmosphere inside was a little dingy too, but outside was pleasant (besides the road). Prices were good though.

Hot Z was great! The menu had a range of options, all of which sounded great. We decided to go with a few pizzas as well as a Stromboli. The crust of the pizzas is unique, but didn’t disappoint! A great stop along the way for a pizza or two!
