I came here to try their “birria” ramen, and I was in all honesty disappointed. I was under the false impression that I’d get some kind of fusion, but when it came out it was simply a store bought ramen bowl, with a tad bit of ground beef put inside, their “birria” tacos were also quite disappointing in that it isn’t what I would call birria in any way. Also purchased cold mediocre steak tacos, when all was said and done, it was expensive cafeteria food at best. It was unfortunate because I had high hopes. Overall experience 2.5/10

TERRIBLE service this evening. The woman working there was very rude and obviously overworked. I have not had someone in the service industry be that rude in a long time. She made me feel like it was my fault they were out of chicken and instead of explaining the situation she just looked at me like I was stupid when I came up to get my order. Then the food I did get was not made as described by the menu. I will not be back and this restaurant should not be at Parlor anymore. It is a disgrace!

No one here to take order. I placed the “Sorry We Are Closed Sign” bc the one guy working behind counter failed to tell me he was out of meat. Need a refund for the no food I received.

40 min later, the bar manager downstairs was able to refund me and bought me a coffee. Good dude.

Service was very offputting. When my order was ready, there were multiple boxes of different orders on the counter. I politely asked the staff member to confirm which ones were mine and she was extremely annoyed that I even asked, said she could not help, and then walked away leaving me to open them all to determine which ones were mine. Besides being strange way to treat customers, it was unsanitary for the stranger’s food I had to open.

Tacos, typically the heart and soul of any taqueria, arrived at the table fairly flavorless and noticeably cold—robbing them of the warmth and flavor that should embrace each bite. The real surprise, though, came with the ramen. Listed on the menu without elaboration for $16, one might expect a creative fusion or house-made twist. Instead, what arrived was unmistakably a bowl of 99¢ grocery-store ramen—complete with the familiar seasoning packet flavor and little alteration beyond the boiling water and a few pieces of chicken.

Went yesterday & I am giving 1 star for the tacos because they were actually pretty good.. the service by the guy working was TERRIBLE. Didn’t say hello, didn’t ask if i needed anything or if needed help ordering, literally pretended like I wasn’t even there. I ordered 3 different tacos with pickled onions because i LOVE pickled onions and I ended up receiving with no pickled onions & when I asked the guy about them he was on his phone and without even looking up at me he said “I didn’t put them on there cause we dont have any” and then turned around to keep cooking. As a dental hygienist I’m BIG on infection control and I saw this man use the same gloves to touch the food, cook the food, be on his phone, grab the ingredients again, etc. so that seemed pretty nasty to me. The food has potential but the execution of the entire experience was very poor & I probably won’t be eating here again

Our chicken tacos were tough. Definitely overcooked. The main problem was the person working the counter. I asked how we know what the choices are. He kept leaning back on the grill with a sullen expression and pointed down to the screen where you order. I think he said that, but I couldn’t hear him. Dude ,I kind of wanted to know before I ordered. . All the other kiosks had a sign. This one had a TV monitor that didn’t say anything and the image was rotated 90°.I asked if I needed to order salsa, and he said the salsa was on the tacos. (After ordering, I probably would have liked some salsa.) At least, that’s what I think he said. The order was ready and we received our text. When I picked up the order at the counter, he was sitting there vaping. Clearly, he didn’t like his job or people. I will NEVER eat at this place again!

I have eaten here twice. First time we had STALE chips. I’m talking bricks. Second time we waited 30 minutes for 2 tacos. Btw, the $16 “Loaded ramen” is LITERALLY Tapatio cup noodle ramen from Walmart. You could get 15 of these for that price .
