The menu is wide and varied, and the food was delicious—especially the crispy pork belly with guacamole, the chicken arepa, and the fresh fruit salad.
The staff was very kind and attentive.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn’t working, and the outdoor seating wasn’t clean or comfortable. They have tried to make the inside look nice, but it’s hard to enjoy without good ventilation.

Disappointing Upsell We paid the $12.99 for the fruit salad with ice cream, which is a $2 upcharge from the regular one. For that extra money, we received literally one tablespoon of ice cream. It felt like a complete rip-off for the value and I would not recommend paying extra for it.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Everything is made to order. They are Columbian so their style of empanadas are different and taste wonderful. I always get the same thing so the ladies already know what I want. I love getting el jugo de mango con agua y dos empanadas de carne. Definitely worth the price. If you don’t speak Spanish, it’s worth trying to learn, or using google translate.

Watch your receipt when you check out the girl in the drive through gave herself a 15% tip. I don’t tip on apps and the fact that she took advantage that I didn’t speak her language was very deceptive.

If you’re in Tampa and looking for an amazing place to enjoy authentic Colombian cuisine, La Tentacio is an absolute must-visit! Whether you’re dining with family, friends, or even solo, this cozy and welcoming spot offers an unforgettable experience. The food is nothing short of incredible – fresh, flavorful, and expertly made. Every dish bursts with taste, and you can really tell the ingredients are of the highest quality.

The restaurant itself is spotless and well-organized, making it a comfortable place to spend time. The owner, a hardworking and kind woman, adds a personal touch to the experience. She is actively engaged with her guests, ensuring everything runs smoothly and honestly communicating wait times, which speaks volumes about her commitment to providing excellent service. The attention to detail and care in every aspect of the restaurant are truly commendable.

I highly recommend trying the fruit salad – it’s a delightful, refreshing treat that complements the main dishes perfectly. The entrees are absolutely outstanding, each one showcasing the depth and richness of Colombian flavors.

Overall, my family and I had an exceptional time, and I can confidently say La Tentacio is worth visiting. Don’t miss out on the chance to savor a part of Colombian culinary culture in such a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I had their natural chinola juice which was delicious but their meat empanadas were old and stale and were filled with potatoes more than meat.

Horrible customer service, got mad at me because I wasn’t sure which was the entrance, and kept going off at me. After all that, she got the order wrong too.

I went to this place that is now called La Tentacion a couple of days ago and was a little disappointed on a few things but I will start with the positive things first:

The service was good and the food was served on a timely manner.

The place looks nice

The jugo de guanábana was good

The hot dog was good

The fruit salad was a little dry

The bandeja paisa was ok – could be better

But what disappointed me is that they charged us twice for a tip without telling us or including it on the receipt. My dad paid for the food and didn’t get the second copy that is normally provided to put down the tip so he told me to leave the girl a tip since they didn’t give him the option to pay it so I ended up paying ordering a water bottle to be able to add a $15 tip which was fine because I always tip. At first the girl didn’t want to take the tip which I thought was a bit odd but then I found out that she didn’t want to take it because she had charged my dad card with a tip and without telling him or putting it on the receipt which I think was sneaky and we ended up paying $28 dollar tip. If she meant well she could’ve said no need for tip we already charged it but she didn’t say that because she took it without authorization. Little things like this could ruin the experience so be careful when you pay they might take a tip without even asking or adding it to the bill.

I visited this place for the first time today, arriving around 6:15 p.m. after nearly an hour-long drive. Even though they’re supposed to close at 7:00 p.m., they were already closing the entrance doors when I got there. I was told they weren’t serving any food—only desserts were available. I ordered a fruit salad, and when I paid, I noticed the cashier kept a dollar from my change and put it into the tip jar without asking. The service felt rushed and a bit rude. Overall, it was a disappointing experience after driving for an hr just to try this place.
