It was my first visit to this diner and absolutely will not be my last. The cook was so wonderful and nice about accommodating my weird hash brown request. The wait staff was friendly and prompt, prices are reasonable, food AMAZING and it was just an all-around wonderful lunch experience!!

The chicken pot pie was the best I’ve ever had! The peach cobbler was huge and with vanilla ice cream to boot! This is our second visit here and there will be many more!!

Wow. Just wow!
I like to get new places and force myself to try something new/ different and hope I’m not disappointed.
I tried the chicken& eggs Benedict and WOWSERS. This was sooooo delicious. The blend of biscuit, egg, chicken tender, & hollandaise sauce was amazing. I was full, but still wanted more.
I also got a blueberry pancake. It was OK, but nothing extraordinary.
My friend got the croisant French toast and it was equally delicious as mine. A surprising spin on French toast.
Whatever you get, their chicken tenders are the best I’ve had in years!
Can’t wait to head to the beach again so we can stop by.
The only thing i can think to make it better is if they offered REAL maple syrup.

I have heard many good things about Metro Diner. The parking lot is almost always full. So we decided to try it out. My wife LOVES breakfast food and I am not a fan so the fact that they serve breakfast and lunch foods all day was a definite plus for us. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie and my wife ordered the Meat Lovers Omelet. The food was excellent. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained, the only real issue we had was that the service was slow. To be fair we did go at 9AM on a Saturday morning so the restaurant was very crowded. I am sure things would have been smoother on a week day. Our server was very nice but the fact that the restaurant was packed to the rafters probably had something to do with the speed of service. Next time we go we will choose a weekday that is not at a peak time.

First time at Metro Diner, Absolutely DELICIOUS❤️ My husband ordered the Turkey Stuffing waffle – waffle made of cornbread , topped with the moistest turkey ever, a scoop of mashed taters and topped off with gravy, Incredible flavor!
I ordered the Avacado Bacon Egg Sandwich, it was cooked to perfection, AMAZING! We will definitely be back, probably for lunch( lol)! Jason the manager came out to greet us, this is the way businesses should be run.

Had a delicious breakfast! The Belgian Waffles were light/airy that tasted delicious w/strawberry butter. And the Fried Chicken was also delicious. Our waitress was wonderful and pleasant! She was very attentive to our needs. Her name is Mary G. Thank you all for a wonderful breakfast!

I love the classic diner feel, and Metro delivered on this experience. Mary was an excellent waitress with southern charm and very caring.
I had their infamous chicken and waffles with strawberry butter and sweet and spicy sauce, and it was fantastic. The waffles with syrup drizzled on top were soft and melted in my mouth. The chicken paired with the sweet and spicy sauce was near perfection.
My girlfriend got the BBQ Bacon Burger, a side of hash browns, and apple cobbler without ice cream.
This place is super accommodating to people who can’t have gluten or dairy, they even have a specifically gluten-free menu.
The price for our food was just over 40 dollars for the two of us. It’s a bit pricey but worth it.

Seated fast, drinks came fast and food came fast. Look, there are a ton of restaurants in Dothan AL. But when it comes to the best food and service, no one comes closer to #1 in the business. Our party of three had a diverse selection of menu items. All where excellent. Their fried chicken is absolutely great. The Salmon is perfect and chicken tenders are massively good. Now this trip, I didn’t have deserts. Just because your belly is full doesn’t mean you can’t take it home. Again, the selection is tremendously good. Disclaimer, I did not get paid for this review, but I did get 10% military discount.

Our server Sam was awesome. He guided me and my husband through the menu like a tour guide. He took the time to explain items, asked what we were in the mood for, and made great recommendations without rushing us. Checked in at the perfect times and even had us laughing. Janice was a very good waitress. Her customer service skills are the best I have seen in a very long time. Whatever my family and I needed, she was on it very quickly. She was also very nice.
