This was a pleasant surprise. My dad is a very harsh critic and even he said it was good and he would go back again!
Food: we ordered the teriyaki chicken and 2 sesame chicken plates. We asked them to cook it extra crispy and they did! They added a small free appetizer for new years as well! They were 3 little egg rolls served with sweet and spicy sauce and it was delicious! With tip included, we paid just under $60 for 3 people and the food was worth it.
Service: the waitress was very sweet and kind and the gentleman who took our order was great as well.
Atmosphere: From the outside, we were a little worried, but it was pleasantly beautiful inside when we walked in! The music was very peaceful and hinted a romantic night out. The pictures on the wall added to the Japanese or Chinese ascetic they were after. I would totally take a lady on a date here.

If you enjoy sushi, don’t walk, RUN to Mizu- Sushi & Hibachi! My 11 yr old son and I were passing through the area on our drive back to FL from NJ and needed to find a place for dinner. We saw they had good ratings and decided to give it a try. To say we were pleased is an understatement! I cannot express how fantastic everything was. Everything tasted delicious and was fresh. It was so good I was only able to take a picture of 1 of the 4 plates we got. We ordered a few pieces of sushi, sashmi, and a roll; it was so amazing we ordered more and got the edamame! Everything was awesome! I will 100% stop at again when passing through the area! Phenomenal!

The food alone has made my standards for other places unreasonable. I’m not joking. I’ve ordered from two places locally and have been very disappointed. This place is quite literally our little treat. We don’t go to Georgia without stopping by for dinner. And the price? Decent compared to other local places. Service is always welcoming and friendly. Food is fresh, tasty, and quick. I’m serious, I can’t recommend this place enough. We request custom plates. My boyfriend likes just broccoli for his vegetables and I like double rice and no vegetables. Never a complaint. No charging extra.

We arrived at Mizu Restaurant 30 minutes early, and they kindly opened the doors to seat us promptly. The location may be small, but the food more than makes up for it—it’s incredibly tasty! We tried the Golden and Rainbow Poke bowls; both had a mildly spicy sauce that added just the right kick. Every ingredient was fresh, and they prepared everything quickly. The service was outstanding and made our dining experience enjoyable. We loved our meal and will definitely be back for more at Mizu Restaurant!

My fiancée and I have been coming here for a long time, we are always met with a big warm smile from the owner. Her and her family are the absolute best people ever, she is always very sweet to us. For the 4 years we’ve eaten here, not once did the price increase or the quality decrease. There’s a few misleading reviews on here claiming “racism” and the staff being rude. Don’t believe everything you read, this is our favorite restaurant in the Savannah area.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Highly recommend the Tango Roll and the pork dumplings. Found Mizu after Hurricane Helene when most places didn’t have power and I needed to pick up food for my husband’s work crew. They had power and were open for cash customers. They were swamped but were really really nice and patient. They handled everyone so nicely I told them we would be back. Tonight we came back and were not disappointed. The sushi was fantastic. The staff are very nice and helpful to every customer. We asked them to surprise us with a couple of rolls and they were delicious. Love this hidden gem! We will certainly be back.
