Nestled in historic downtown Cedar Hill, 1846 is the ultimate coziest hole-in-the-wall coffee shop in the Dallas area! The staff are so sweet and patient as well as welcoming. I’m a very indecisive person and it felt good to not be pressured by the lovely baristas. Their friendly smiles and excellent service added so much to the homey atmosphere of the coffee shop. There is SO MUCH cute seating to choose from, it’s almost impossible to pick a place to sit down! They have two person tables, three person tables, high stool seats, and even a couch with a few chairs for a larger group. My boyfriend and I were both AMAZED by their matcha lattes! They also have wonderful pastries that you 100% need to try. I cannot wait to come back!!!

Decided to try new coffee shops in my area and this place is my new favorite. 10/10 relaxing ambience and 10/10 service! My barista was a lovely Asian little lad named, Anh. Her great customer service had tied the entire experience together. Would definitely recommend!

20/10. One, if not THE best toasted coconut latter I’ve had!! And I’m an avid coffee drinker since 3 yrs of age!! The Matcha is soooo flavorful and delicious!! I haven’t had great coffee or matcha in a while. Please never close this place because I will be driving from Forney TX to this place 3 times a week.

Butter almond croissant was very chewy and rubbery after being microwaved. Was quite pricy for the croissant. Definitely could not eat, left more than half of it.
Barista was very kind and sweet.

Love it here! My go-to now and I live near the white rhino. Great ambience kind of rustic but comfy. Lots of seating. Service is great. Not super crowded and a little hidden which is great if you like to avoid the crowded spaces in other coffee shops like me. Keep it up (:

Great experience overall! Someone from the shop personally came to my house and even delivered my order for free during the winter storm, even though I’m not from the Cedar Hill area. The coffee was exactly what I needed, and he was so kind. I definitely recommend this place to anyone!
