Food is a 4 star. But I had to drop stars because the value was absolutely not there especially for weekend and dinners.

No Hawaiian poke fish of any kind.
No oyster.
The sushi there didn’t have ANY shrimp tempura much less fish. They were all the same… Fake crab meat and avocado.
No eel / unagi.

Just surprised at the lack of effort….

It’s just disappointing they cheapen out on the hits of a good buffet. For the price ($80 for 2 adults and 1 kid) I really think they’re charging too much for what we got. We drove all the way from Seattle and honestly we can find better value in Seattle. Heck even Renton!

Probably won’t be back. I rarely critique Chinese buffets because I love them so much but yeah…. everything else was great but you’re really gutting the frills without giving any competitive edge.

The classic Chinese food is great but we’ll never come back for dinner. Weekday lunch maybe. Service was actually pretty good. Mongolian grill was yummy!

Go to Sumo sushi buffet! Much better.

It is HOT in there!!! We went around 4pm on a Sunday. Even my friend that is always cold, said that she was on fire LoL. All the cooked food was surprisingly room temp/cold except for the soup. The ice cream station is a self serve via ONE manhandled scooper, and it’s totally gross if you’re a germaphobe, like myself. The food is pretty average- very similar to the other buffet in Marysville,(I can’t remember the name.) so much so that I asked my friend if they knew if the place was owned by the same people. The best thing though, is there’s a lot of people working between busers, cooks and servers on the buffet stations and the food is restocked often. I like that they are on top of taking your dirty plates. It’s a really big venue. Plenty of parking. I don’t love it but I don’t hate it. For fun,, including a picture of my fortune cookie.

The food was a 3/5 at best, it felt like there weren’t very many options, everything seemed the same just with different meat choices(e.g broccoli shrimp, broccoli beef, broccoli chicken) it felt like filler food without diversity and the food was room tempature like most people have stated. based on the mixed reviews, the food has been a hit or miss when it comes to dining here.

The cleanliness is on a lower level and my reasoning is that some plates were dirty, food areas weren’t wiped down when spills were made and the ice cream area was my most concern because the ice cream scooper was submerged in water and the handle sits in it while everyone touches it without cleaning their hands. The mint ice cream had a hard dried food in it (and it wasn’t chocolate we couldn’t tell what it was) but it did kill our appetite.

it just felt like the staff didn’t really put effort in keeping things monitored, especially the food areas and sanitation which has also been stated in other reviews when dining here. If the level of cleanliness improved, I think it would be a lot better to avoid getting sick.

Had a great time at the buffet! The orange chicken was delicious — crispy and full of flavor. It’s also nice that soda is included with the meal. Most of the food tasted fresh, and the place was clean and relaxing. One small thing — a lot of the items didn’t have name tags, so it was a bit hard to know what everything was. Still, overall a very good experience. I’ll definitely come back!

I’ve been here a few times now. Great buffet with an assortment of Asian dishes, including sushi, seafood, noodles, steamed Buns, rice, soup, desserts. Food is constantly being replenished, so you’ll rarely get an empty pan. Restaurant is clean and I appreciate that they’re constantly cleaning the food areas and replace the serving spoons/ tongs. Dinner/ weekends are bit expensive at $28, but lunch is much more affordable at $18, although you may get a few less options. Definitely one of the best Asian buffets I’ve been to though.

Definitely has become one of our favorite buffets for about 2 years now!
The food selection is great, plus the unique part is about 8-10 different flavors of ice cream always available! (Two freezers on the opposite sides of the restaurant)

Hot foods, tons of salad ingredients choices, deserts, Sushi bar and grilling-to-order selection.

The food here is always fresh and has a good variety of options. My only complaints are with the cleanliness of their soda cups and coffee cups. They are always wet and sometimes not even properly washed as if they were just sprayed with water quickly. Overall, still enjoyable food. I just have to finish washing the cups by rinsing with some hot water and it’s good to go but hopefully they can be better about being sanitary.

The food is ok. Not $25.99 worth. They charges my child as an adult. Definitely not worth it .He eats like a 5 year old. Their clams are not steamer clams they are farmed white bland clams. So disappointed. They don’t use the same sauce to cook the clams in anymore. Definitely NOT worth $85 for two adults and a child. We will never return. This used to be my favorite buffet.

The food was food, The service was reasonable, there were many food options, for all tastes. The environment was clean and organized. It’s a good place to go with friends and family. The only point is that you can’t leave food, if you do you will have to pay a 10 dollar fine.

Paid $33 per person at V Star Buffet, but it felt more like a 1-star experience.
The floors, hallways, and restrooms were noticeably dirty, raising serious concerns about overall cleanliness. If the visible areas are this neglected, it makes you wonder—how clean is the food you’re eating?
