I hate giving bad reviews, But I also wouldn’t feel good if I didn’t say something. I read reviews and they help me make a decisions. I am a Celestinos fan.I worked at the first one when they opened downtown decades ago. This one on East Avenue seems to be going downhill more and more.I will never order slices from there again. The crust tastes different, quality is poor. I ordered 6 slices to go in a rush.Didn’t really look at them till I got home. They were all dried out like they’d been sitting all day. Warmed a few up and we’re way too old and chewy. I spit out the Hawaiian because I could not chew the ham. For the owner if you care this is the date I went Sept 25, 624pm. I am making a big guess its not affiliated with the downtown location.

Like the pizza but they need to fix online order system asap. Cannot even tell what is on a specialty pizza. For example “Tom Jones”. Thought they were in middle of upgrade the first time I experienced this but problem still exists today. Sorry…not ordering when do not know what I’m ordering.

The store is really dirty. The walls next to the fountain drinks are filthy, makes me worried for inside of the machine! I appreciate the amount of cheese the put on my salad, because they’ve never given me anything but onions I’m the past. The pizza was really black on the bottom and left the paper plate black. And my mouth. The person who took my order was nice though.

My second to last visit here one of the employees said they would “blank” another employee if they called them by the wrong name. It may have been a joke between employees, but it was weird, and I stopped going.
I gave it another chance a year later. The employee working placed two slices of pizza on top of each other, making the cheese stick to the bottom crust of the other slice. It ruined both slices.
I haven’t been back since.
A slice of cheese pizza is $3.50 +tax. But if you say “around $4” Celestino’s accuses you of spreading “misinformation”. Pizza and ownership and management are slipping in quality.

Not the friendliest place or the best pizza in town but they do sell pizza by the slice. Definitely not a good place to take your family because it is a very small restaurant so it’s best to take your order home with you.
