I’ve been looking for a good birria taxi for MONTHS since the Taco truck I found being down. And tonight I took a gamble and ordered from here. The tacos were fantastic and the sauteed onions that came with the tacos were so flavorful I ate those all by themselves hahaha. This place is great. I cannot wait to order again.

Before I get to my very specific complaint, I will say the tacos are bomb forsure. Love the onions and Chile on the side the tortillas are perfectly warmed so they stay soft till u get home.
That being said this is our 3rd visit and the 2nd time in a row we were shorted tacos. We come for the pastor on Wednesdays, with it being 2x now not sure if this is something the do to others on large orders? We order 20-30 tacos when we come but its not like we get odd # of so many different meats. We get 20 pastor and a few asada and carnitas as those r the meats we like at any taco truck. Last time we were shorted 4 tacos they gave us 2 boxes with 8 each that time out of the 20. This time they wrapped 5 each in foil so we’re shorted 5 tacos.
To top it off, the wait this time around was so not worth it no matter how good there tacos are or any dam tacos. An hour and 15 minutes is way too long of a wait (yes they were packed atleast 20 ppl were waiting when I arrived and still chose to order) so for that combination being shorted 5 tacos after waiting over an hour, im good I will not be returning. I’ll stick to my regular OG taco truck Lonchera el Pichon.
Wondering if any others who come on their 1$ taco days and drop a fat order get shorted too?
