I always walk into a new restaurant hoping they’ll bring out a chunk of Moms Lasagna.
Sometimes I get lucky. Paul’s Lasagna has all the necessary ingredients and the large portion will leave you some leftovers for tomorrow. Mozzarella sticks were tasty. Salad was fresh and had some of the best blue cheese dressing on it that I’ve encountered.
Service was a little erratic but they were slammed by an extraordinary rush of people.

We had a large group coming in for dinner before a dance. Emily was wonderful to work with from planning through the dinner. She made sure everything was organized and ready for our group. The food was delicious and we had a great time.

Know what real Italian food is, because if you think it’s here, you are so wrong. Ordered the chicken Marsala, mind as well call it a soup from here. Mushrooms where from a can, chicken was microwaved and was like rubber. Not good at all. Will never go back. I’ll drive to Bella Monica in Raleigh next time I want some good Italian food.

We chose Paul’s to host a retirement party and could not have had a better experience. Emily assisted us with making fantastic choices for the catered meal and was our waitress. She was so helpful and sweet! We didn’t have to ask for anything, she was two steps ahead for the entire experience. I can’t say enough praise. Thank you so much for helping us create good memories!

So this place is terrible. If not for locals not knowing what Italian is suppose to be like, this place would fold. It’s packaged, frozen food. Garbage. They don’t have enough people working. Good luck getting a drink at the bar. It’s best to avoid this place. It’s Olive Garden pretending to be legit. The pics included are dirty dishes that didn’t get picked up from a precious customer that had left before I even walked in (and never got picked up in the hour I was there). No telling how long the patrons had been gone before I walked in. When I got home I had plastic in my food. Terrible.

The atmosphere at Paul’s was welcoming tho nothing stood out to me. The wait staff was attentive and quick with tending to our needs.
The house salad that came with my meal was actually really good. Lettuce/tomatoes/cucumber and thickly shredded cheese on top… I was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t just mainly lettuce like a lot of other restaurants.
I was a little disappointed in the chicken carbonara dish. Rather than a creamy sauce, it was VERY runny, the consistency of soup. It was topped heavily with bacon and took over the flavor of the dish. It wasn’t terrible, I just expected it to be different from what I received.
I would recommend this restaurant and would like to try some other dishes here.
