My wife and I were visiting the area for a few days and could not be more happy to have found this place. Quality of the food is amazing and this is by far the best sushi we have ever had. We liked sushi at this place so much that we came back 3 days in a row for dinner. We can’t wait to come back to Pacifica just to eat at Sushi Kashiwa.

This restaurant is a gem. We have been here multiple times, and everything we’ve tried was very tasty, made with high-quality ingredients. Our favorites are the hamachi toro and fish taco. Both have a divine flavor, complex and well-balanced. Service is great, and there is plenty of parking. Highly recommended .

After hearing great things about Sushi Kashiwa, I brought my mom here for her birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. While they were busy as it was a Friday night, they made sure my mom had a special night for her celebration.
We ordered a variety of rolls and everything was delicious. My favorite was the Japanese Oysters and Bluefin Toro w/ Uni Nigiri. Toro and Uni was buttery smooth and just melted in my mouth. Another highlight dish is the Kashiwa Supreme Sushi Box, which is a mini omakase. This was a great way to sample all the different dishes and flavors the restaurant had to offer. My dad ordered their udon with shrimp tempura (not pictured) and he gave it a two thumbs up!! From their starters to their rolls to their kitchen entrees, this place is a 10/10.
I’m already looking forward to my next meal here at Sushi Kashiwa so I highly recommend you come and check it out

As of 1/27/24 their Grand Opening 15% off deal was still active (dine-ins only). It’s in a quiet plaza and there is a small parking lot out front. On a Saturday night I was surprised to see it close to empty. There was one server manning the floor so we had to be patient while he tended to the other party. Understandable as it’s a new place.
Bluefin Lovers Roll ($18), Kashiwa Roll ($16), Sexy Casanova ($18) – The rolls were all okay. For each portion I felt the price was a little high. All the rolls seemed to be doused with the same sweet glaze. Would have liked a bit more variety.
Chirashi Bowl ($30) – My friend ordered this and said the fish tasted fresh. Towards the end he was given a bowl with the shrimp heads to finish. It was interesting.
I will likely return to try other dishes.

There is a a very good place to enjoy my dinner with my family or friends. My son’s favorite is beef udon, and my daughter’s favorite is rainbow roll. The Kashiwa Supereme Sashimi Box is so fancy and delicious. We like the sushi restaurant.

Although it’s located in an unassuming plaza Sushi Kashiwa is positioning itself to be the premium sushi spot in the area. However, we still had mixed reviews about our experience. We ordered their 11pc omakase and uni toro handroll. Some of the nigiri tasted bland which was disappointing. The uni toro handroll was good but more toro flavor than uni. I didn’t realize they had some ongoing house specials – “The Toast” would definitely have been something we’d order.
Food aside.. the service was pretty good. We had a couple of hiccups that were swiftly addressed. They’re still doing a promotion for 15% off dine-in only as of today 21SEP2024.
