Try the Lemom Lentil Soup. It was great!
I’ll be back.
This restaurant is an absolute gem! Their brick oven pizza is delicious, and the pasta dishes are always fresh and full of flavor. I’ve been here many times, and every visit is just as wonderful as the last.
Lilian, , is warm and welcoming—she makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. Danny and Barbara are fantastic servers who always go above and beyond to make the experience great.
If you’re looking for amazing food and even better hospitality, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!
Clam sauce was good, chopped clams, needed a little more garlic,
Sorry and meatballs were good
I feel that there should be basil on the margarita pizza , but if not, no big deal…it was very good the cheese is a fresh and a little salty, makes for some awesome mozzarella!
The whole family felt that the chicken Alfredo was very very bland, no seasoning at all …it tasted like what a kid would order like butter noodles, there was no cheesiness taste 🙁 but it actually looked very good, but it did not taste good, it was very disappointing.
The calzone was very good I actually was worried about the marinara being inside but it it is a great balance and very delicious, and it’s flat but still good!
The parmigiana pizza seems like it would taste way better if they were to finesse it a little bit the flavors are really great but way too big chunks of tomato way too big chunks of prosciutto they’re nice cut should be way more small and delicate, especially because the pizza crust is so thin that it just becomes a huge soggy mess ….and the only part that really taste good is the outside edge. Also, there should be more cheese than what we received and maybe a little less pesto, because it became again very oily and soggy.
I would return here, but specifically for only certain kinds of pizzas and the calzone.
We picked up our pizza only to find out that a large pizza at La Florentina is what would be considered a medium or small at most places. They do not take credit cards, so you must bring cash. But they will provide you with a ATM so that you can use plastic, just not with them. I do not know what fees and such would be involved.
The place didn’t seem to have a lot of tables. But maybe I just missed them. Parking isn’t bad for a little strip mall. But it can be difficult to get out of if headed south.
When we got just up the street with the pie, we of course sampled it. I will be extremely nice and say, it was not the best we ever had. Ok, it was not good. It fell apart when you tried to pick it up. It was extremely dry, but acted like it was soggy, with little sauce. It was totally different. No oil or grease, but just fell apart. Some of the pizza had sausage, but a quarter of it had none. Cheese was thin and little sauce. Just nothing good to say other than it was sort of a pizza. So what is it that others raved about?
I wondered if I should try them again and chalk it up to a bad night. But, no, I will not even try them after what they called pizza and took our money. Besides, we were leaving to head home which is many states away. I do not know anyone in the business up there. We were just visiting a relative for a few days and decided to pick a pizzeria close by. It even had good reviews. So I have to wonder why the good reviews? Who posted that this place was good. I now wonder what folks in that area feel is good?
