Stopped in for lunch before a movie, and sat at the bar. Service was excellent. Menu has plenty of variety. Food was very tasty and portions were good. Nice selection of beers brewed on site – I had two different ones and both were delicious. Cans and growlers are available for take home. Highly recommended!

Super over crowded . Took over 2 hours to get a seat . The calamari was kind of boring for $17. Burgers weren’t bad , this place kinda reminded me of an upscaled Texas Roadhouse but with a smaller menu . The $4.25 coke was a great addition to our $100 bill . For the price and experience I would recommend other avenues for finer dining

This place reminds of a fancier olive garden by design minus the Italian food. Food here was great! Having the mix bread basket, baby back ribs, and roasted chicken. Selection of alcohol is pretty decent too. I would like to see them add ciders to the list. The waitress we had was attentive and awesome! I can see why it was so packed when we arrived. I would highly recommend reserving.

Late night last minute dinner and service was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. My waiter was very chill, polite and down to earth. We tried to order quick and eat quick so he didn’t have to stay late and he said don’t rush it’s fine. We still ate quick to get it out his way. The guy who bought my food out dropped 3 fries by accident and I told him it was cool, 2 minutes later he bought a whole bowl of fries out and I assured him it was OK but he insisted I have more fries. This is some of the best service I’ve ever had. I wish I could’ve gotten their names to shout them out, I hope the management sees this and can figure out who they are because they were awesome tonight.

Had an incredible lunch earlier today. The short-smoked salmon was cooked to perfection (super moist). Our waiter, Alex L., made our entire lunch unforgettable. Incredible service, funny, super kind and generous. Sweetwater is lucky to have a server like Alex. I mean, this guy was next-level awesome. Just because of Alex it felt like my friend and I were at a 5-star restaurant. Thank you Alex!!! Almost forgot—had the Crème Brûlée for dessert. Best I’ve ever had!

Always a great meal and good service for the price point. Our daughter chose Sweetwater for her birthday dinner and once again, great food. Last night’s server, not so good. He checked on us once and never refilled water glasses. The only reason we still gave a good tip was for the runners and people bussing our table. They did an excellent job.

Hadn’t been to Sweetwater in years, so it was great to see another Great American restaurant still around. The food was amazing, compliments to the chef whoever made my salmon I asked for medium rare it came as such & was fabulous would highly recommend. We also got the oyster salad special they had and we tried the crabcake special that they had, all very savory and good. Shout out to our server Phil, who took care of us the entire time and of course gotta give out a shout out to the Augy rolls that we love the most. Great visit back to a DMV staple.

Usually when dining in this place is always perfect but I ordered take out today and I ordered a Monterey salad with no dried cranberries and a side of honey mustard. When the take out person handed it to me I asked for honey mustard and she said it was in there. It wasn’t. Then I go home and open the salad .. there’s dried cranberries, no avocado, no tortilla crisps, and it seems like they threw something on there I have no idea what it is ?? This was pretty disappointing, I literally would always order from here but it was just a lot of mistakes on my order. I ended up just eating the chicken and threw out the rest.

The ribeye steak was unfortunately very tough and seemed overcooked. The texture was chewy and parts of the meat were burnt, which made it disappointing. I expected better quality for the price.

This was one of my favorites when I lived in NOVA, as it just brings back nostalgic memories of my friends and the service is consistently phenomenal. Naturally, I brought my mom here during my visit home.

We got the crab cakes and steak combination, special of the day (red snapper), sangria, and sides of broccolini and loaded potato. All were great, but mom is older and complained that it was too salty. I thought so too.

SIT INDOORS. My biggest complaint is the environment, as they sat us outdoors despite our preference and we got bitten all night by mosquitoes. It’s a nice outdoor space, but it requires some sort of bug repellant. I feel like I shouldn’t have visited, as I stare at my swollen, polka dotted legs. Ugh!
