We had a very nice Anniversary brunch at the Dunwoody Fogo De Chao. We were seated promptly and the server explained the available options to us. We chose the Indulgent Churrasco option which includes a entree enhancement and a dessert. The Market Bar was amazing with numerous choices and the meats kept coming. For our indulgent enhancement the wife and I both chose the lobster tail and the Creme brulee for dessert. We both left stuffed and we found the price to be very fair for the amount of food and choices provided.

The lamb was good and I’m glad they have a menu option where I could just order one meat versus the non-stop meats. The garden bar is just meh. The lentil soup was too watery for my liking. The warm bread they bring to the table is delicious! It’s definitely not a place I’d choose to go because it’s too much money for the little I eat, but I enjoyed the celebration to which I was invited!

Also, on Saturday’s they don’t split the check. There’s only one check for the entire table. At least that’s what our waiter told us. ‍♀️

Booked a dinner party for 12 people for my birthday and it was great! It was my first time here and the food was not disappointing! A fun eating experience. The waiters come around the table with the different types of meat to cut the slices and there is a big salad bar section with soup options, cold meats, and different cheeses! The price was about 63 a person which is not bad for the unlimited eating! And the drinks were great!

It’s fogo. The name says it all. There’s nothing much else to say. A phenomenal bargain for extremely flavorful meats of all kinds. Of course, mainly for celebrations due to its price, but you can likely get better flavor and definitely larger portions than just a regular fancy steakhouse. If there’s a cut of meat you like, I recommend you aka the gauchos to bring it out, otherwise, you may not be able to try it. Try the lamb of any kind. In my opinion, it’s the most flavorful of everything they have!

All in all, fogo deserves all the praise it gets.

We came in for a Earth Strong celebration and it was amazing. The atmosphere was relaxing the market bar had extremely fresh and delicious food and the lamb was some of the best I’ve had in years. Can not wait to return. Bonus there was a free dessert for our birthday. A very special thanks to Nina and Mariana who provided world class service and to the food service for the meats you are on the ball with keeping us fed. If you ever get the chance make your way here.

Maria was our server today for our office holiday dinner and she made sure everyone was taken care of of. I personally don’t like cheese and she went out of her way to get me some food without cheese and it was very thoughtful of her. The food was great, meat was very juicy and tender. I will definitely come back here!

Very good experience overall for bar menu and drinks for a large group.

I will say it took a minute for the staff to get rolling but once they did we got everything ordered, delivered and refills or new drinks. We met up with a group of artists for a show next door before the show opened for appetizers and drinks. Someone had reserved a table for 20 and it was completely filled. It was happy hour so the food and drinks were reasonably priced – we spent $42 for two and had a good experience.

The bar food was kind of hit or miss. We ordered three appetizers – the empanadas were just okay, the saucy legs were good and the spicy chicken sliders were very good. I got mixed reviews around the table for others food.

When we got ready to leave, the checks were all mixed up but our server quickly got it sorted with no further problems. I believe if you want to go here and eat meat until you’re ready to explode (I’ve done that) then this is your place for sure.

I had reservations on November 6, 2025 for 8:00 PM for a party of Three to enjoy my birthday dinner. This was my first time eating Fogo de Chão so I was more than excited. There was a 20 minute wait even though we had 8 o’clock reservations, so we had to sit in the car and wait until our table was ready. Once seated, we sat down and it took a while to get a server but when we finally got the server. The communication was very poor. He didn’t really explain the menu how everything works nor did he return to the table after he dropped a plate on my friend. Overall, the experience was a six side of 10 due to the slow motion of how the meat was not coming out. When we sat down, we got two pieces of meat and 20 minutes bypassed until we finally said something and then they started to bombard us with meat selections. It was my birthday, so I was expecting a better experience. I went to the Dunwoody location so next time I will try Buckhead to see if I can get a 10 out of 10 experience. I probably will not return to the Dunwoody location because the service was poor. But I want to give a huge shout out to the server named Asia, who actually came in and saved the day once her counterpart almost ruined my birthday. Asia made sure to make up for the service that he lacked. She was full of energy very positive and she made me feel extremely special for my birthday. I will only go back to that location if she is my server. We ensured to give her the tip.
Went back 12/27/25 with my sister for her birthday and Jake was the best. The manager reached out to me after I did not have a pleasant experience and they made up for what was not satisfying for my birthday. I definitely will be going back because they gave me a 10 out of 10 experience my second go around. Changing my three stars to five!

We had a great overall experience at Fogo de Chão in the Dunwoody and Sandy Springs area. The ambiance was polished and lively without feeling stuffy, which made it comfortable for a family night out. We went with my wife and our two daughters, ages 8 and 6, and the staff was welcoming to the kids. Service was good but not standout, though the gauchos more than made up for it with attentive table visits and well prepared cuts throughout the meal. Solid food, a good atmosphere, and an easy place to enjoy a nicer dinner without it feeling overly formal.

1/18/25 Update:
I was going to erase my previous review but I wanted everyone to see what a great restaurant will do to make sure their business is up to high standards.
I recieved a phone call from JP to find out what happened the day we went to Fogo de Chao. I explained everything to him and we spoke for about 20 to 25 minutes. Not only had I wrote a bad review but so did my husband and my brother. The day was a mess. JP offered to bring g us back in for a redo and also gave us 2 free desserts. We went in of January 18th and had the experience that completely changed my mind about FDC. The service was spectacular, the food was sublime and of course our waitress was fantastic. JP was a man of his word and I am so glad he did. If you go please try the Brazilian Street Corn, it has to be my favorite on the market table. Oh and try the olives and the candied bacon too (sweet and salty all in one, yes please). Now the ultimate question….will I go back…..yes I will, I absolutely will, but never on a holiday again. Thank you JP, my experience was amazing, you and your staff were amazing and I commend you for your professionalism. Oh and you have to go and try their desserts thay are definitely a chefs kiss actually everything was a chefs kiss!!
See attached pictures of the desserts, yummy!!

We started off great with our waitress Nina taking care of us and from there it slowly went downhill. You would think that for $63.00 a person the service, atmosphere and food would have been great. The food was good and we did get to try several different steaks but it was like pulling teeth to get the temperature we wanted. I wanted several different cuts cooked medium well but most of the time they were medium to almost raw. The filet mignon was very good and the New York strip was good, but there were a few cuts that were on the tough side. I had a few sides like the olives and the Brazilian Street Corn which were both great but a lot of the stuff on their market table was just not for me. My husband wasnt impressed either, he was at the market table getting ready to get salad dressing for his salad but the lady yanked up the dressing containers and walked away with them, just rude!

The service we recieved was far from what I thought it would be, like I said before Nina was our waitress and after we recieved our first round of drinks she disappeared, she did show up about 20 minutes later and after that she never appeared again. I paid $4.95 for 2 glasses of sprite and that was in a 2 hour period but most of the time my glass was empty and was having to drink room temperature water. When I said something to the lead server wanting to know where Nina our server was she stated that she was not just our server several people were, that made the whole situation worse because that means we were ignored by several servers. We were sitting in the middle of the room but its like we were sitting in the donut hole and everyone was just going around us. There were several times we wanted to order more mashed potatoes for my husband but no one ever came to our table. So as we were at the end of our less than stellar experience the cherry on top of the cake was my son was double charged and then charged again to the tune of $220 for one person and my brother tab was so messed up it took them almost 20 minutes to sort it out. Needless to say, this is a one and done situation for me and the rest of my family. One last thing is the restaurant is not wheelchair handicapped friendly, there was no room to manuever around we were dodging chairs and tables trying weave our way around. I am sorely disappointed and feel like I wasted $146.77 plus tip for a failed experience.
