Starting with the appetizers: the hummus was good and creamy (7/10). The baba ghanouj had a nice smoky char from the eggplant, which I appreciated, though overall it was more of a 6/10. The spicy eggplant dish was flavorful with a good kick (7/10), while the beans were just average (5/10). The garlic dip was tasty and paired really well with the meats. The tabbouleh, however, felt a bit dry and was missing the bright, lemony punch I usually expect (5/10).
For the salad and fried items, the falafel had a nice crust and good flavor (7/10). The fattoush was decent but a little dry and could have used more dressing and tang (6/10).
The grill platter was the star of the meal. The chicken taouk was juicy, well marinated, and nicely charred (7.5/10). The beef shawarma was even better – tender and full of flavor (8/10). The chicken gyro was fine but nothing special (5/10). The rice was unfortunately quite dry and didn’t add much (4/10).
Service was very good. The staff were kind, attentive, and took the time to explain the menu and offers. The atmosphere was quite and didn’t offer much and there is only 1 table that can fit a group of 8,9. It’s quite a small.syore.om the inside but feels homey and we genuinely enjoyed our time there.
Overall, a solid spot with excellent meats, generous portions, and great service. With some improvements to the salads and rice, it could easily be even better.
The kebbeh came with a hot pepper and lettuce and a purple pickled vegetable I couldn’t quite place but is delicious.
The kebbeh was cooked perfectly with the outer coating slightly crispy and the inner meat indescribably good.
The Gyro was enormous, the delicious fluffy pita it came in was as big as a dinner plate wrapped around lettuce diced tomatoes and lamb and the tzatziki sauce more than I could finish at lunch if I want to be productive!
