The restaurant was quiet that day. The dining area is quite large and looks nice and clean. The menu is small, but we loved everything we had which included our drinks, tomato soup, steak as main dish and a slice of cheesecake as dessert.
Last but not least, our bartender / waiter was amazing, we loved his high standards, quality of service and going the extra mile to make our special night more memorable.
Complaints:
1. The floor is super sticky.
2. The receipt pad that you are supposed to sign on is textured so the pen doesn’t like to write in it and the writing looks bad.
The TVs are perfect for watching a sporting event. The bar stools are quite comfortable.
I ordered the seared halibut and it came with black carrots. I was miserable eating this. It was tougher than expected and not well seasoned. Next time I will order the fish and chips.
I think they can charge even more for the same coffee if they would have a website and social presence
The food was not bad, but not as described. The cheese on the burger was not Beecher’s Flagship cheese as stated on the menu. The tomato soup that we ordered with my daughter’s meal was tasty, but quite spicy and certainly not fit for a child.
Overall, food was a notch above average. Service was as good as could be expected with only one server doing everything but cooking. He had a great attitude the whole time and I was impressed with his work ethic. The credit card machine was down as well, so I felt really bad for him. Great job, Shane!
