I ordered the Chicken Handi Biryani, but it tasted more like plain chicken-flavored rice instead of proper handi biryani. I also ordered onion pakora, but the restaurant forgot to include the chutney on the side. The overall meal was disappointing because the items didn’t match what was expected.

The food and the ambience is lovely. The counter and the kitchen are clean and maintained nicely. The food is prepped on an everyday basis and served fresh. The taste is spot on. The ginger tea is hot and hits the taste buds really good. You should try it. Price wise it is easy on the pocket and portion size is good. If you are in Dallas give it a try .

1. gutti vankaya curry 16oz $8 will come with three pieces only. They confirmed when I enquired, but the gravy was more waterish.
2. Their special Apk Spl Boneless Chicken Biryani, comes with micro mini dark meat thigh pieces thin layer in-between rice. Common bro, we order biryani for the biryani feel not to eat like chutney. Which is $14, who ever thought this is good idea should be named.
You don’t have to cut corners when your prices are already above the market.

They serve very hot rice in cheap plastic box. Wish they could serve in a eco friendly way. Food is good otherwise but it is poison when you are eating that hot in a plastic.

I always get curries here.. even chicken handi Biryanis and pulavs..they always are good and kept us coming back even tho we lived about 30 mins away from the place ..
We tried the paneer fired biryani today .. its an utter joke ..just super spicy and no flavor at all … And mini pieces or paneer were rubbery..they don’t even taste like paneer.
The quality seems to be dying down.

Loved their biryanis and pulao!!
We tried APK special chicken fry pulao and Chicken dumnbiryani,Both the items are flavourful and chicken inside is very flavorful and tender.
We also ordered Chicken 65 which is amazing and chicken cooked very well.
Would definitely recommend this place for Authentic south indian food!!

Ordered Veg and chicken handi biryani for takeout.
Order was ready by the time I got there to pick up.
Coming to the taste, chicken handi biryani was very delicious and flavorful.
Veg handi Biryani but just Biryani, barely any veggies
Raita on the other hand was extremely sour, I had to throw away the biryani I was eating with.
I am kind of disappointed as I was hoping this place close to my house would be my regular place to go!

Front desk doesn’t have common sense and make people wait even for take out orders while they are on phone for minutes together. This attitude won’t work with so many options around for Indian cuisine. Food is ok and good options for snacks.
