The customer service was impeccable Nicholas was excellent, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was nice! We also got surprised with a nice treat for our girlfriend birthday! I had the Eggplant Cake with a side of meatballs and the bread was to die for every one ranted and raved about their meal!!

A great local place to eat. Had a nice meal here with friends recently. Especially fantastic meals were the stuffed walleye and the eggplant cake. Everything else was delicious as well. We have always enjoyed our meals here. Great food at a good price! The people next us got pizza burgers and they looked amazing! Will have to stop back and try them next. We enjoy the appetizers here as well, especially the calamari. Something for everyone here from pizza to steak. Give it a try!

Finally a restaurant that understands how important the very first impression can be. By that I mean the table water that is served. Most restaurants don’t understand how terrible their water offering is. Funky taste or overly chlorinated city water. Just a BIG Turn Off , and especially for customers that don’t have city water in their homes. A simple and relatively inexpensive filter and de-chlorinator system fixes that issue and Margherita’s Grille has figured that out. Their water offering is just what it should be ; pure and tasteless. A Great Big Thank You to the management for understanding and addressing this issue. Wish more restaurants would pay attention and fix their water. And yes, the service and food was excellent !! We will be returning to Margherita’s Grille again very soon.

First off, this is not a spanish or mexican restaurant. My bad for thinking that. Anyway, the food is fantastic. We hit all corner of the menu–all very good. I had the Stuffed Walleye. Can’t find that anywhere on the eadt coast. It was the best piece of fish I have had in years. Margherita pizza and chicken were excellent as well. Wish I lived here!

I posted an update to my original review but Google is asking for a new review. Unfortunate because it won’t be very good. We really enjoyed our lunch 2 years ago. Food was excellant. Decor was worn but clean.
This visit, the food (scallop special) was small I portion and presentation. Not much special about paying $20 for four small over cooked scallops the size of quarters. They didn’t even serve bread with dinner.
I won’t be going back.

Very critical of steaks as I like to believe I make the best. That being said they make a pretty damn good steak here. Staff was nice. Only issue I personally had was the loud piano playing (which was good just too loud). As someone with hearing issues and tinnitus it made conversation slightly difficult and was causing a bit of ear pain.

I’m from out of town….my first time at this gem!! If you are ever in the Youngstown surrounding area, you MUST go to Margherita’s!! So many tempting menu options to choose from! Everything that came out looked delicious. I had the garlic chicken salad, which was excellent!! The service is also A+. Chris was awesome. Thank you. I can’t wait to return.
